Comment:

He is very nice but it is a 300 level course so he gives a lot of homework especially in the beginning of the semester. He wants to make sure to weed out any one who won't take his class seriously. Do well in the beginning, because you'll get to skip the 10 short answer final. His tests are harder than they look/sound so be sure to study!

Great Professor! Group work in this class is mandatory. Meisenhelter is very helpful and knows so many business professionals which in turn could help you. I really enjoyed the personal experiences that Chris talked about in class and learned to be professional. Again group work and papers stink but he is such an amazing professor which makes up it

I was literally dreading the class with Chris over the summer. I heard horror stories for past students and I was honestly scared to death. But I went to class and learned that he was such a great professor! He ended up being my favorite professor ever! So much homework, but the class is very rewarding and you learn so much. Tests are crazy. STUDY.

Favorite teacher ever! Gives great feedback on papers that help you, not just in this class, but every other class where there are papers. I would have never thought that having two classes with one teacher, on the same day, would be a good thing, but I loved it! Kudos to Chris for actually caring about his students.

Good professor, knows what he's talking about. Gave up making a big paycheck to do what he loves so you know how you do matters to him. Provides very specific expectations and feedback. He will hold you to the standards he expects, but will also give you a chance to make up for any kind of shortcomings you may have.

8 homework assignments worth 10 points each, 20 points for class participation, 4 tests and 3 projects worth 100 points each (book report, industry analysis and management interview). Do the study guides, they have the exact same questions that are on the test, answers are found in the textbook. Great guy, made class enjoyable

His class is demanding, but it's good. Class can be fun (depending on other students), sometimes repeats himself a lot. Interesting approach to teaching, but I learned a lot (business major). Gives out a study guide before every test, if you fill it out you'll pass with A (very easy to get extra credit too).

Comment:

Meisenhelter is a double-edged sword. While he can be a great teacher and a funny, good guy, he is also insatiably demanding of coursework. There are countless papers, presentations, projects, tests, and small assignments. Attendance is mandatory. He can be a little unclear at times, as well. Rather difficult class.

Very nice guy. This course has a TON of projects and papers which are very time consuming. You also have to spend HOURS on studying for his tests. Nice guy, good prof, but ALOT of work. if you do the work, easy A

loads and loads of work. he gives assignments on thursdays and they are due on tuesdays. you will not have a free weekend the entire semester. he gives all the questions that will be on the tests. it is possible to get an A but it takes alot of work and alot of studying

He's not a bad professor but can be ignorant at times. Makes you sit in a circle for class with name tags on your desk. EVERYTHING handed in must be typed which is all 10 homeworks plus a bunch of extra assignments. Two 15 min. presentations. Tests are hard and have about 10 short answers on them - must regurgitate what's in the book!

For those who are looking to take a business elective steer clear of him. He does not like his ideas being challenged and will cause you nothing but a headache. For a 100 level class, the amount of work was equal to a 400 level. The man thinks he is hilarious but his jokes are lame. Biased professor. Waste of 3 credits this semester, not worth it!
