he is a nice guy, but i dont think he was the best teacher. if u missed a class trying to figure out what you missed he sucks. and the sheets he gives you are never clear, and when you ask him a question about the sheet, it takes him 20 min to explain it but doesnt really answer the question

Good teacher, lectures in the first half of the semester along w/ attendance by inclass assignments. mini papers builds up to first reserch paper, which is do midway, then another topic research paper at the end. no tests besides papers, final exam is the oral interp of your second research paper before final week.

The comments about Picard are pretty rough. I had him in 2009 and he was a nice guy, not the best teacher but at least he was pretty easy. If you don't get a B in the class you did something really really wrong. most of my class agrees with me that he is a nice guy, i would take him again if i had to take another English class.
