He's a funny guy and his lectures are enjoyable but he is the toughest grader I have ever had and is rude about it. When I asked him why I got an A- on my speech and not an A, he said "I don't like to give A's" It is clear he doesn't really want you to succeed.

He at first was a great teacher until he took off an entire letter grade on a speech because he didn't agree with my POV. Literaly his notes said "too one sided" even though it was supposed to be persuasive. NOT clear about attendance policy. Missed class cuz my grandfather died and was very rude about it, and took off points from my final grade.

Professor Pudlinski is a really nice and funny guy. He tells stories and is genuine and down to earth. However, he is a very tough grader and assigns a 15 page paper for his 301 class. Worth taking, but you will have to work extremely hard for a B or an A.

If you enjoy writing 15 page papers then this class is for you! The entire class notes are written on the board (in class), not blackboard-never posts anything on there. If you don't go to class the only way to get notes is from someone else. His grading is ridiculous, expects way too much for an undergrad course. BEWARE!

I took his class online. Through the Internet he seemed like a really nice guy (helpful and quick to answer emails). His exams were really hard. The papers he assigned were fun topics and enjoyable to write. However, he is a tough grader. I would take a class with him again.

Hard for a 200 level class, but an awesome teacher that really makes the class fun. Lots of fun class activities. You really need to show up because the exams are mostly class material. Book is really cheap and small, not bad at all.

Had him for 301 and 240 this semester. He's a pretty funny guy with some good stories. He is good at learning students' names and seems to care about how you do on things. He's somewhat tough with grading on papers and exams, but I would suggest taking his classes.

What a funky guy! Made the instruction really personal and seemed genuinely interested in learning the students' names and personalities. He assigns a lot of group work but since it's the intro course it helps you meet the other grad students. Will look for his courses in the future.

Took him for both 140 and 384, he is a great teacher for both classes. Fun teacher, so class is never boring. Easy to talk to. If your nervous for public speaking, he's a great teacher for it. the project for 384 is a lot of fun. Take him before you graduate!

Professor Pudlinski was a very good teacher. He kept you active and always had personal stories to help you understand the work content. Keeps you engaged, sometimes with group work, sometimes with slideshows, or writing on the board. Highly recommend.

I had him for another class too, and if anyone here wants the honest answer, hes funny at times..his classes can be interesting at times. But he is NOT a liberal grader, and his tests really are difficult...even if you study. He grades papers very hard as well...I am a journalism minor getting A's in all my classes, yet he gives me Cs on his papers

He is VERY entertaining. Always has great stories. Class is never boring. Pudlinski knows what hes talking about. He also accepts late assingments. I didn't try at all. I should have done more of the work. He Explains the reading so you don't really have to do it. Overall, Take him. If you are Comm Major Hes one of the best professors.
