No hw, dont have to go to class, just show up for the few tests. Lectures notes are online but are extremely confusing. In lecture it is not clear what u need to know. Often he goes off on completly irrelevant tangents.

He is the most interesting man I have ever met. He understands that the class is for non-zoology majors, so he makes it easier for you to do well. He has a grading scale to help you out & you just have 3 midterms. His lectures are amazing and he has some of the best stories ever. I am sad he's retiring, but glad I got I took his class & meet him.

He's retiring but hes just such a funny guy. You learn alot of random crap in this class but if you show up, pay attention, and study a little you should be set for an A, which is like a 70 with his curve. Notes are online, no book, 3 exams and nothing else. Overall had a load of fun in this class, which is how it should be cause its a non-major.

I don't even have enough room to say how awesome he is, too bad for you future people, he's retiring. But anyways, this was one of the best classes I've ever taken. He's amazing at what he does and it was a privilege to be in his class.

This course is easily accessible outside of class! All the lectures are online, there are only 3 exams for the whole course! Huge curve based on the class, tests aren't hard. If you know a bit of bio, you're sure to pass with at least a C. Barely went to class, and guessed on every exam and got a C+. The class curve is amazing

Worst class I ever had, no clear grading scales nor a formal syllabus. No book, no homework. His notes were hard to understand, and he rarely actually went through them. Not sure what he was teaching (mainly story of him) and what he wanted us to know in exams. Majority was getting C, or better off B, if you want to have low GPA, take it.

He sometimes gives out answers during lecture, but you don't need to attend to pass class. I read his online notes a few days before each midterm/final and got A+s on all. Huge curve: 40%C 70%A- 80%A+. Genuinely cares for students. He goes on tangents and talks about his backstory, but he's very passionate and knowledgeable about what he does.

No textbook required. Attendance is not mandatory but if you show up, he does give exam answers. Doesn't give a study guide. His lectures are boring and unclear since he speaks softly. Exam is based off of his notes. Take the lab; its fun and easy. He curves the exam.

Super funny professor. Made class so interesting. He made class into like life lessons with a joke on top. Three exams. The bar for an A is really low. He doesnt expect much out of you since this is a non majors course but is there for you to make sure that you pass and do well. He a really caring professor. take his lab. Iwantanotherclasswithhim.

Dr. Womersley is an awesome professor. Knowledgeable, great sense of humor, understands the life of a typical lazy college student. What more could you ask for? No textbook, attendance not mandatory but useful. If nobody goes to lecture, he gives away exam questions. 70% =A-, 75%=solid A, and you need 40% in the class to get a passing C. Take him!

Chris is absolutely brilliant. He's funny and makes the lecture entertaining by telling stories (that sometimes go off topic but is useful information anyway). You can find the lecture notes online, but attend anyway because sometimes he gives hints for the exam (which are curved). Very worthwhile class, take it with him if you can.

Funny guy. Cute dog. No textbook is required! Great class for non science majors. Love the curve. 70%=A. Exams are all multiple choice. He is technologically challenged so you have to check your score on the board outside of his office. Lecture notes are uploaded online. I strongly recommend taking this with the lab.

Womersly is hilarous, engaging, and insanely knowledgeable in his field. If you ask a question, he will have a great answer, and has office hours if you need extra help. I had no interest in the subject prior to this course, now I love it. Without a doubt the best life science course I've ever taken, with an amazing professor. No book, and EASY!!!

Very easy course, and the Prof is lively, funny and really nice. If you want an easy way to take care of you science, take his class and the lab. Although he tends to get off topic, you'll learn a lot of different things. Overall, the midterm and final aren't that hard. Just 50 multiple choice so don't sweat it.

He's really fun to listen to and has a way to make students remember the material! No book and tests are curved massively so it's easy to get an A if you understand about 70% of the material. :D Great introductory course and notes are online in case you miss a class. No attendance is taken but he sometimes gives away questions on the finals.

No book need. PLUS Attendance not required PLUS test are easy if you know a little of zoology PLUS. i never went to class once the WHOLE semester, only 4 times, one on the first day n 3 times for the test. passed it. if you take the lab, thats mandatory but it's fun and easy if you have a good T.A. Other than that super easy course to take.
