I thought she was very thoughtful and kind with giving me a few extensions because I had too much going on with sick family members. The work load was very tough and demanding, but I learned so much through all the research I did and I grew so much more as an educator because of it.

DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS! She punishes you for taking it online by write a FIVE page paper PER WEEK! Syllabus isn't clear, take a week to get back with you, then adds rules as she goes and docks you points for it. I'm asking to be switched out to another class. I've never hated a teacher so bad in my academic career.

I have never worked so hard for any teacher, and she graded me based on if I agreed with her and the book. If I didn't agree, then I got a poor grade, if I did agree then I got a great grade. I am so appalled by her egocentrism, and the ungodly amount of work for a 300 level course that I will NEVER take a class by her. DROP HER CLASS IMMEDIATELY!

I was excited to take course as I teach high school and thought it might be immediately useful. WRONG. Learned nothing about adolescents, and felt I was just a platform for her research on Latino women in prison. Very unclear. Went to discuss my grade, her only response was that a B+ was a good grade, as she'd thrown my project away. RUN AWAY!

Dr. Jose is a pompus pain in the you know what. She is from Mexico and should not be teaching in the US. Talked about how she was going through divorce because her husband was cheating on her. Wonder why??? She barely understands english and told an international student that if they did not understand her to go back home. HORRIBLE PERSON

worst ever. Took her online class and it took her 4 days to get a response. Her response was that I shouldn't be in an online class cause I have too much trouble understanding her material. Her grammar doesnt make sense. Thank god I dropped her class. Avoid her at all cost. She is on an ego trip, & make sure to address her as DR. or youll regret it

This is the worst class I have every taken. I got an A, but still would NOT advise anyone to take this professor for anything. The syllabus said one thing, she said one thing, the study guides were about another, and the test matched none of the above. Lots of extra credit, and without it, you would fail.

Alot of people hated this class. I axtually liked it. I worked my a$$ off and got a A-,It wasnt impossible, but the test were very hard make sure you actually read the chapters and take good notes she gives alot of extra credit... You just have to be on top of your game..

The "multi-cultual project" was pointless for a psychology class. A lot of work for only ten minutes to present with five other people. She never showed up on exam days instead it was a GA. She was confusing in what she wanted from the student, the class outline said one thing, and she said another. I do not recommend this class.

She never shows up on test days. Our class is held once a week and out of 13 weeks, she has been to 8 classes! However, attendance is mandatory for students. Group project is worth 30% of grade, however expectations are unclear. She stopped one group to tell them that their presentation was not what she wanted,but she never gave clear examples.

i've read every comment about this professor and am glad i'm not the only one who feels this way. she is the absolute most worst professor EVER and eastern should be embarrassed that she is a professor there. if you have this class with her DROP IT IMMEDIATELY! i did and now i'm trying to get my money back because this just isn't right!!

Very frustrating class. Extremely unclear in her expectations, but blames that on class inflexibility. Verbal instructions did not line up with the syllabus instruction, which changed several times during the semester. Saving grace is ample opportunity for extra credit, otherwise most students would fail.

You wont learn a thing from her lectures, you'll have to read the chapters yourself and hope to do well on the tests, but no one ever does really, a c is probably the highest you'll get. She makes you do a stupid group project too that is pointless and very time consuming and hard
