Richards is a lovable prof but she can go over material too fast at times for a begginer course. about 3 tests, 2 oral exams, and 1 final exam. She is a reasonable marker and I would recommend her if you're going to take french!

I enjoyed this class. I liked the teacher a lot. She's funny and doesn't pick on students like my other French teachers. Lots of tests, both written and oral. Agh... but tests were easy. You need to be able to keep up, and do all exercises to do well. Tests are from the workbook. A to A+ possible if you study ~!

I procastinated taking french for a long time. I'm glad I finally did it. Madam Richards is a super teacher. You can get an A in the class if you do the work in the workbook, and read the text. But u must do this! French is worth the effort, that' for sure. I'm looking forward to more classes with Madam Richards!

She is nice, but unfortunately she forgets stuff all the time. Repeated exercises, wrong questions on exams, mix-ups with the lab instructor, and no structured class schedule. Drilling for 2 hours straight is really boring. I wouldn't recommend her for anyone who isn't very confident in their ability to understand French, spoken or written.

She is as great as everyone says! I took her class on a whim, and I'm so glad I did. She was very helpful and patient with all my questions (and I had a lot of them!!), and her teaching style is clear and straightforward. The way she gives examples to the grammatical rules are also especially effective. Just do her cahier, and you'll get 90+.

she's one of the nicest, most helpful teachers i have ever met..she has enough office hours so you can come in anytime when you need help with homework. videos, songs and other literature make the class more fun. if you just do your homework on the workbook, you'll do well because the questions in the tests are similar to the ones in the homework.
