The class is tough if writing is not your strong point. the professor does a good job of helping when needed, don't feel uncomfortable going to her office for help. She really likes to try to keep the majority of class discussion based and not book based.

Fun class-sat in a circle and talked about whatever. Not much work-just be prepared to discuss. Dumbs down everything, just don't get her on a feminism rant that even makes females uncomfortable. If you're a guy-expect a lower grade.

Extremely difficult to do well in her class. Her grading system is absurd and she believes that no matter what anyone writes that they will always be wrong, and believes that she will always be right, NO MATTER WHAT.Horrible class and a shining example of how self-centered some college professors can be.

I don't know who the bonehead was who left such nasty comments. Professor Elvidge IS tough, but she's interesting, wicked smart and goes out of her way to help anyone who asks. If you got a bad grade it's probably because you're lazy. Her teaching methods are a bit unusual, but she keeps you engaged. You learn a lot.

She's sweet, and tries very hard to engage the students. She appears to meander the entire class, but her discussions are purposeful in getting us to think about current events and use them in writing. Unorthodox teaching methods, but is always available. Do your drafts, and discuss each of them them with her. Trust me on this one!

This professor is obviously intelligent and well-read; however, her teaching skills are lacking. The class could be improved upon if Christina applied some basic teaching theories and methods. She sits all period and talks. No one is that interesting.

This class just meandered and by the end felt like a total loss. Learned more from the book. Seemed more concern with Honors Director postion than teaching class. Always late with stuff.
