Although she is a tough teacher, Bayr's teaching method emulates an immersive program where if you PAY ATTENTION and DO YOUR WORK you will come out with an A. (And quite a bit of Deutsch!)

For teaching INTRO, she sucks! She forgets that we haven't ever spoken german before and gets really impatient when we try to think things out or don't know what is going on. She's not a good intro teacher and the only thing that I like is that her exams are quite easy. HORRIBLE TEACHER! AVOID HER!

The only reason I passed her INTRO class is because I grew up speaking German as a 2nd language. I felt *so* sorry for the students who were genuinely learning it for the first time. Her teaching strategies are not efficient for an intro class.

Im sorry but I have professor Baryr and i think she is absolutely amazing. She pushes you to learn the language on your own, and theres lots of in class conversation in german, which isnt hard at all. I love that class.

Bayr is absolutely ridiculous! She comes in to an INTRO to German class barking at students in a foreign language and gets upset when we have no clue what she's saying. She's not helpful, way too demanding, and unclear. Her position should be re-evaluated
