She's a nice prof, but just reads off the slides. Its way more useful to read the textbook and make notes rather than attend the lectures. Pretty easy course as long as you've read the material!

Very kind and passionate about what she is teaching, gives pertinent examples as she has worked in her field for many years. Unfortunately most of her time is spent reading off slides, but this is the reality for most first year psych teachers. Lectures are not mandatory if you read the textbook, but can definitely be helpful.

She is a nice lady but reads off her points from the slides so basically useless 3 hrs lectures but if you have questions she tries her best to explain it , depend on the textbook especially for the final since her slides do not cover all the points. I literally only attended the first 3 lectures and still managed a decent mark

Definitely cares about what shes teaching and it shows in her lectures. Dont HAVE to read the textbook but it does help to further clarify. Lectures are important as she put blanks on her slides on brightspace.

I began by dreading her class since its a 7-10 but i quickly became accustomed - the midterm was easy but i heard the final is solely based off the textbook - doesn't matter that much since she pretty much follows along with the textbook. I would take it again but I wont lol. Its a plus that she is so giddy and charismatic, she makes it fun

I can tell you that attendance to Boisvert's class is not mandatory- slides posted on Brightspace and as long as you follow along with the textbook you won't miss anything. Study diligently and you'll do just fine. Her expectations are clear and she is a very enjoyable lecturer

Dr. Bouisvert is one of the best proffessors I've ever had at UO. She is kind hearted, passionate, funny, and a dog lover. All the best qualities! Show up and study diligently and you'll do just fine. Highly recommend taking her learning and conditioning course!

Interesting class, shows videos and even takes her dog in for the final lab report. She is full of energy and sometimes a little scatter brained but she loves the subject and does a great job teaching it. Midterms and finals are fair if you've studied. Definitely recommend taking this course with her if you have the chance.

Lecture is pretty interesting and the midterm is fair, but beware the end of the semester; you'll get destroyed by her final if you study like you did for her midterm (unless you always over-study like a try-hard). Also, if you get unlucky and get a bad grade on the paper, you're screwed and she won't even answer email requests to look over it.

Excellent professsor, the ratings should be higher. The class is easy if you come to the lectures and pay attention. Whatever you don't understand is very clearly explained in the book with great examples. Prof. Boisvert gives memorable examples herself. She also brings her dog as a real life demo! Great class highly recommend

Must attend her lectures to take notes as the slides contain bare minimum. Short answer questions come from the slides and class, multiple choice come from the textbook but closely match what you learn in lecture. I avoided the textbook and did fine without it. Nice, funny, interactive and very passionate about PSY3103. Takes time to answer Q's.

She is an amazing professor. She conveys the material very well and makes it interesting. She is there for you and makes sure you understand the material. If you go to class and take good notes you don't even really need to read the textbook. Would recommend taking a course with her.

Dr. Boisvert saved psychology for me. She is the most amazing teacher I have ever had--she is helpful, kind, brilliant in her field, and I love how she uses psychological concepts outside of the office! Not too easy, but if you are looking for someone who's going to spoon-feed you material, then you shouldn't be in university. I'm sorry. LOVED HER.

Easy midterm and final (textbook not even needed if you understand the material well). Lab expectations were a bit unclear. Do not miss any classes, both to maintain good understanding and to ensure you do not miss out on taking crucial lab notes to do well on the 19% assignment. Overall, pretty average.

Fairly easy class overall because it's not just memorizing. Did not even buy the textbook and got an A. Midterm and Final are both MC and Short Answer. MC is trickier than average, Short Answer actually tends to be easier in this course. Only bad thing was the lab, which was short notice (7am the day of) and impossible to get notes for if missed.

LOVED Prof. Boisvert's learning and conditioning class. It is my favourite class I have ever taken--and you get hands-on experience training her dog using the methods she taught! It was amazing. I wish she taught more classes at the university--I'd get in as many as I could! If you pay attention, and actually learn the material, you'll do well.

She's nice, but she's often late and a bit "all over the place". You have to attend class because the Powerpoints are vague. She quickly goes over the important points and then gives many (too many) examples, which is when she tends to get sidetracked, making the class quite confusing at times. The lab is an easy A if you've attended class.

The content is interesting, but there is only one midterm and it is super tough and you do not get any marks back except this mark and so you do not know what your going into the exam with. I am sure there are easier profs for this course. The book is really annoying to do notes from (super small and thick). Vague slides so you have to go to class.

Pretty average prof overall, main problem was the 'lab', which was a notice at 7am the day of and she just did some tricks with her dog and you had to analyze that for 19% of your final grade. She made no effort to provide you with notes or a video in case you missed this class and expects a great amount of detail. Exams are not too hard at least.
