Took her online was probably one of the worst decisions i've ever made. She gives 6 tests each worth 5% of your grade and a midterm and final both worth 30% you fail those you fail the whole course. I would not recommend taking her seeing that this is a BEGINNER class, it should be considered advance for the amount of assignments she gives.

With 50 exercises, 23 problems, and 6 tests plus the midterm and final... it's nearly impossible to do work for any other class. Something is due every night mon-thurs! Yes, she is helpful, the content is straightforward, the notes are easy to read, but this class will consume your semester/life.

I LOVED Dr. Jonick! There is a good bit of homework, but it is for your benefit. The homework problems and the problems worked in class are what to focus on for the tests. She would also narrow it down by posting practice problems on connect. If you know how to do those you are good! She is very helpful if you have questions! Better than Merritt!!

If you want to have the hardest semester of your life, take her! This is my 2nd to last semester from graduating and I guess I am rethinking that. I have never had any problems with my professors until now. NO SYMPATHY AT ALL! Her class is for sure not a beginners accounting class. This should be an advanced class. HOURS of homework! Good luck!!

Jonick is the best online teacher I ever had! The assignments are organized and she responds to questions and discussions really fast! I was afraid to take acct2101 online because of hard it is, but Jonick helped make it a little better with straightforward notes and assignments. If you are going to take acct2101 I highly recommend taking it online

Plan on spending several hours a night reading and doing homework assignments, extra assignments for extra credit, you will need the extra points. Does not know how to explain the material so someone that doesn't work in the field can understand. Material given to study for mid term will not come close to what you will need to know.

Jonick is exactly what an accounting major needs. Her tests really push you to understand the material in a very precise manner. I can see where non-accounting majors taking her for lower level courses would not enjoy taking her, but if you are serious about accounting- TAKE HER.

She makes the class much harder than it should be. Her homework and test spreadsheets have several errors. For the midterm and final no practice exam or study guides are provided. She said just study the tests we took. Then on the midterm and final she puts multiple questions that were not on any of the tests. Very frustrating class.

Jonick should not teach. I emailed her so many times (on d2l per her request) w/ specific questions she ignored. But god forbid if you forgot to put your grade in the comment box. Biggest problem was she deducted heavily for small mistakes on tests which are the majority of your grade, the homework is easy and I used other classmates help if needed

I do not recommend. She told our online class to not email her questions, instead having us use a D2L discussion board. This included personal questions. In addition, her spreadsheet files took ages to complete, and many were riddled with errors. Overall, I recommend looking elsewhere for an accounting professor.

If you value your sanity and your GPA, do not take Jonick's 2102 online. 4 hours minimum on cengage homework every night. Makes you learn the material on your own. If you don't study for hours a day, you will fail. I had to drop after the midterm. She's nice and definitely notices if you show a decent effort though, which is rewarding.

If you get about a 97 average for homework you get an extra 10 points on your average. There are 6 exams which are online and fairly easy. At the midterm and Final she gives a practice version of the tests. If you practice those without your notes you will do fine. The questions are very similar. Overall good teacher

I have taken Jonick for both principles classes and intermediate 1 and 2. I wish she taught 3 because I would know what to expect. Intermediate 2 is a tough subject, but she does her best with it. Make sure to study all day, everyday, especially for final. Final upped my grade to next letter grade.

It is demanding and brutal. She's upfront at the start of the semester when she says 2 hours of homework 4 nights a week! The midterm & final make up 60% of your grade and cover a ton of material. She provides the course notes, which is nice to save money. Doesn't answer questions straightforwardly, more of a riddle. You really teach yourself!!

Had Ms. Jonick for ACCT 2101 & 2102 and have loved being in both her classes. The summer 2102 online class was hectic, but if you do all the homework and ask questions you're stumped on, not holding back, it should be fine. This class required a textbook, however, she also provided her own notes which were great. Would take other classes with her.

Mrs. Jonick is one of the best professors at UNG. She is not easy by any means but her class is structure so you learn really good accounting. There is a lot of homework but this helps you prepare for her test. If you skip the class you will not pass. There are 5 test in class and 3 quizzes. There is an accounting problem. Great class just busy!

Comment:
Lectures are great and Jonick offers good in class feedback. The biggest issue with this class is how inefficient studying for tests is in this class. I took 5 classes this semester and this class took more study time than the other 4 combined. The reason for this inefficiency is due to not receiving answers to homework problems.
