My favorite teacher at NIU so far! Not only does she make the material interesting but her reviews of the tests are amazing! She makes her expectations crystal clear. Would recommend this class to anyone who needs the gen ed! Way better than psyc 102! She makes you not want to miss class! Only grades are exams and in-class assignments.

Awesome teacher! She gives great examples to help you remember the material. Class is based off of notes which are easy to follow on powerpoint. Make sure you take side notes as well because she mentions some important things not on the powerpoints. I saw my test grades skyrocket when I attended class. Take her! She's awesome! No need for the book!

This was honestly my favorite class of the semester. She made the class very fun and interesting. Her tests are based on her power point notes that are all online. The tests are right off the notes and not very hard. No need to buy the book. But great teacher TAKE HER!!!!

I'm used to teachers basing their exams completely off the book, so I bombed my first test because that's the opposite of what she does. If you pay attention to lecture and study her powerpoints (which she posts online), you will do fine. She keeps lectures fun and gets really personal with topics so it's easy to learn. She's awesome.

She was an awesome teacher. I loved her kids, but I think they really get in the way with her teaching. I dont like how she cancels class a lot and has subs. It can really throw you off. I know she loves her children and all but this cant help the students the way that she does things. I loved her class dont get me wrong.

Full of Enthusiasm. It's contagious! Teaching is as clear and concise as any teacher i've ever had, with real world examples to really drive it home. Excellent instructor, very nice person as well.

Dr. Malecki is a really outstanding teacher. Her lectures are very interesting and quite funny. She actually makes me want to go to her class. She is very helpful and returns emails very promptly. If you attend her class regularly it is easy to get an A.

Dr. Malecki makes good use of class time, and definitely makes class interesting. Only downfall: she talks about her kids all the time. Once I kept track of each mention of them during class, one day she was up to 8.
