Dr Pappas is a very cool, funny, and energetic professor. She is one of the best professors at this University and really connects with the students and is also very reasonable. The homework will keep you busy in the upper level classes, but not too overwhelming. Overall awesome professor with quality classes.

Awesome, Funny, Easy to understand, lenient, very negotiable on most things, easy to make appointments with. If you have a problem or don't understand go and talk to her, she's really easy to work with. Very knowledgable of the subject she teaches, if you give a good effort and do what you're supposed to do, you will pass her class.

Pappas used video lectures which seems to help me personally understand better. She has a way of explaining government in an more interesting way than the first instructor I took it with. You have to work for your grade, so don't expect a free ride. I LOVED her class.

Just to reiterate what everyone else has said, Dr. Pappas is a very talented teacher. I hated politics when I came to her class and left with a better understanding that really helped me get a better social understanding. If you have the opportunity ti take her Gov't class I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY suggest it. Wonderful person overall!

I always found her classes to be very intelligent and intelectually stimulating. If you are taking her in the spring, then you should be prepared to take part in community service projects which she makes mandatory. Also, she is very Liberal which might make Conservatives uncomfortable, but she usually keeps her lectures politically balanced.

One of my favorite professors. Her classes are lecture heavy but not dull. She is passionate about politics and that will make you interested in it too, because she teaches it in a way that is easy to understand. Highly recommended.

Amazing teacher! She was one of the few that actually made you look forward to coming to class each day. Now don't mistake this as a blowoff class because you will definately need to put in some effort. But overall I would highly recommend her.

Such a good class, wonderful professor! Very interesting, she's so passionate, I would take her for anything. But she doesn't take crap from people that talk in her class and are disrespectful. Also you have to read a book in her Gov. class that'll change you. And her tests are pretty easy and fair.

Hands down...the ABSOLUTE BEST ecu has to offer. I count it a privelege to have had her in so many classes. She is definately making law school easier. Completely dedicated to what she's doing and constantly looking for ways to make it even better. She's doesn't babysit you and expect hard work, but she is awesome and you will learn so much.
