The Aliens in My Head want me to rate professor Staver as a good Astrology...er, Astronomy professor! Sarcastic but fun sense of humor. Posts notes online, lets us use notes for tests. Knows a lot about her topic, is very concise. Good powerpoint used in class, lots of images that aren't in the textbook. Good professor, no? Would def. recommend.

she is the bomb! took her last semester for meteorology and got a B, im in her class now for Astronomy (i have an A). great about emailing for cancelled classes or new homework assignments. lets you fill up 2 or 3 index cards to bring to the tests. extra credit cartoons are every test. comical,sarcastic, organized, "with it", tech savvy, and clear

professor Staver is OUTSTANDING! so nice and very clear on her material. the only way you fail is if you don't go to class, its a MUST. Very fair and gives tremendous opportunity for extra credit. I would definitely take her class again.

She was the best professor that I had last semester. She made astronomy really interesting and fun. She had a great sense of humor and explained things well. I really don't understand the comments of the last student. She does give hard tests so you do have to study, but she lets you use note cards and all the lecture notes and reviews are online.

Horrible professor does not help tests are extremely hard and we never use the text book so don't bother getting it. She doesn't really explain what she is talking about and goes through the slides for notes extremely fast. Over all DO NOT TAKE HER!!!!!!!

I had her for meterology. She has notes online so you can print them out and follow along with her while she is lecturing. She has a great sense of humor. She lets you use note cards on the tests. She also gives lots of chances to get extra points on the tests. I would definately take her again! Definitely recommend!its a great class! :)

Meteorology. She's awesome. Take notes in lecture and no homework unless you do extra credit. Tons of chances for extra credit. Great sense of humor. The only warning: she gets really angry if you talk over her during lecture. Giver her some respect and the class is a breeze. You have to be a complete moron to fail this course. A+

Prof. Staver is a very nice lady with a goofy sense of humor. She gives you so many chances to do well in her class, including putting her powerpoint presentations and notes online, extra credit opportunities on tests and outside of class, and doesn't mind if you have a few questions to ask. I recommend her as a teacher.

Very good. The classes are fun, and there is a lab where you actually get to set something on fire. The tests are easy if you have not cards, and the extra credit on the tests are a so much fun. Labs are cool, plus you can earn extra credit that goes directly onto your final grade, it is posssible to get over 100 average in her class great teacher.

very easy class. all the notes are on projector and online if you miss a class. you can make cheat sheet notecards for the tests as well. she makes weird jokes though hehe. but overall it's an easy class and she's pretty nice.

extremely nice! gives you every opportunity to do well. tons of extra credit. labs are easy but the questions make you think. tests would be impossible if you didnt have note cards. she is highly recommended!!
