Chris is the kinda guy that teaches you w/o you knowing it. Though it sometimes wondered why he was talking about Blockbuster and EverQuest constantly, I came to appreciate his insight into the my psyche... wish he was still teaching.

While this professor lectures on very interesting topics and is great at getting the class involved, he uses a random selection type grading and doesn't actually teach too much about games themselves that you can use. He also assigns a ton of project work that you have to figure out on your own.

If there ever was a professor for an introduction to the video game industry class, or an introduction to the supply-side of video games in general, He's it. Make the most of the time you've got with him; Don't underestimate him as a resource for any and every type of information pertaining to the video game industry.

One of the worst instructors I've ever had. He creates an environment of confusion and disorganization because he cannot communicate effectively.

Ernhardt is here to be your superior, not your friend. If you don't take his lectures seriously, you'll never get through his class, let alone DigiPen. He pushes you hard and you have to work hard to keep up with his lectures. With producer reports, he loves to tear you apart if you did something out of order. A master of time management.

Having already earned one degree, I can say this is one of the worst professors I've ever had. Vague, unclear, and extremely unhelpful. He is a very dynamic presenter, but refuses to present in a manner that is conducive to actual learning. His tests have very little to do with course material, and his attitude is sarcastic, rude and biting.

This class will really let you know what you are in for, for the next 4+ years. It really demands that you are responsible as a student, as well as very approachable as a person. Being able to communicate with strangers and give good presentations is very important in this course, and will surely beome more stressed in the later GAM courses.

Quite a character. His lectures can be fun sometimes, and sometimes they can be mediocre. However, he is very socially adept and is very, very clear. His classes force an amazing amount of independent study, so it's more likely you'll learn the most outside of class. Overall, he's a great professor, but can really make life difficult at times.

Brilliant man, he is my favorite teacher at DigiPen. He really knows his stuff and he keeps my interest during lectures. Mr. Erhardt, if you ever read this, I'll use this anonymous chance to say "I really look up to you." I hope to one day be an awesome game maker like you.

Erhardt is a very engaging and funny guy. His lectures are very enjoyable. But he is too often unclear in his expectations and directions. You tend to learn about his true expectations after you have displeased him. It's tough to work on a game when you don't know precisely what you need to do.

He is an awsome teacher. Teaches us what we need to know, and he's entertaining. He is helpful when questions are asked to him. The only problem, was that some due dates were unclear, but that was also because the dates in the book never lined up.

Erhardt has been in the gaming industry for a long time and it shows. He can explain anything with real world examples that everyone understands, and he can often relate it to something he has done in his time. Also, one of the funniest and most helpful teachers. Perhaps my fav teacher evar.
