One of the better O-chem profs at OSU. His notes are very clear, although he can go quickly through his powerpoints. His exams are straight from the notes as well, if you study at all the tests are easy.

The worst prof I've ever had when it comes to relating to students. I had a friend pass away the day of an exam, and he told me to either take it that day or take the makeup which he told me would be an impossible exam to pass. My TA told me that he couldn't even get a question on the make up exams. So I took the exam got an 18 on it.

i don't recommend him. has online notes which i don't like and moves fast. studied hard and did not pay off. the average on his second test was a 49%. i beat the total average by 10% and got a B-. i was lucky i had a sweet TA that give us an equation sheet.

i had to work REALLY hard for this class, but it wasn't that bad. It was definitly the hardest ochem. He posts all of his old tests online... which are really similar to his tests. I put in countless hours, but if you do EVERYTHING he gives you to do, you can get an A. Just make sure your other classes are easy.

Exams are ridiculous after the amount of studying you put into the class. People who said he was "fair if you worked hard" are only on here to brag. Over half the class got a C- or lower in his WI06 Chem 252. Take someone else, work as hard as you would in Hadad's class, and receive an A with another professor.

Overall, he does a good job explaining the material. He does move pretty quickly, though. We covered all of the material one week prior to the end of the quarter. His exams make you think but are fair, and if you understand the material, you should do fine. He also uses notes (posted online with a few blanks) instead of the blackboard.

His accent is a charmer! Granted he is hard to get in touch with but he was genuinely interested in helping. Once you sat down with him, he explained things well. His exams were hard but definately doable if you studied...there was nothing you haven't seen before in class. Excellent professor...what a teddy bear!!

Hard professor likes to make you"think on your feet," so expect things you have never seen before on your exams. Actually lost 12 or 13 exams on the second one so those students got to retake it and of course did way better than the 49% average so that was unfair. Also very hard to find and meet with outside of scheduled office hours.
