Simply professional. The homeworks are challenging, and so are the projects, but there 12 projects to choose 2 from, and you can even submit a proposition if you want to make your own! Great guy, interesting lectures.

He's such a sweet professor. He made the class interesting and something to look forward too, which is hard when it's at 9 am. He basically told us what would be on the tests and was very approachable. The homework was hard and the TA's weren't good, but overall he's a great professor.

Professor Bishop is the MAN!!! Crystal clear lectures, always helpful and maybe even too kind!Gives sample questions and gives A LOT of hints in lectures of whats going to be in the test. Multiple choice tests. If you do bad its because you are LAZY!! This professor is too good for you to fail. The man is a genius. Excellent professor!

Need to take calc. in highschool. class goes at very fast pace, so always stay on task. would not recommend this class unless you're very interested. attendance not mandatory. HARD HOMEWORK but answers given by TA, so just go to recitation. very hard tests. huge curve for midterm and final. got a B- on midterm, A on final and got a A- in class.

Took course the first time it was offered - very fast pace, make sure to read the textbook, it's hard to catch up. Professor takes all material from the textbook in class. It would be helpful to have taken both AB and BC calculus in high school. Go to TA's for homework help (it counts a lot). The curve on the final was, unexpectedly, very good.

his tests are crazy hard but if u study the textbook and attend his entertaining lectures u'll do fine. if ur lookin for an A it helps to have taken AP calc BC and gettin all the hw questions right coz his tests are easier than the hw. if ur TA is craig vancoevering gl stayin awake for the semester..but the prof's def recommended!

He talks very fast but he knows his stuff. The thing is that throughout his lecture, he spend more time on talking about other stuff than teaching that day's lesson. Unless you're a totally math genius, otherwise you would have to spend time reading the horrible textbook in order to pass his class. His lectures were boring and not helpful at all.

oh man this guy was great! the tests were so easy, all you had to do was go over the practice exam and you were set. don't even have to crack open the textbook cuz the practice exam was pretty much how the actual exam was. great lecturer. smart guy. funny and laid-back. i highly recommend him.

He was the head teacher for my semester, and he made the class so easy. Multiple choice exams, practice exams(looked very similar to real test). Answers questions, and if asked he will repeat himself. Three exams including the final. IF you improve from the 1st exam to the last exam, he will give you a good grade. HW is a lot harder than the tests.
