This teacher is absolutely horrendous. Mentally unstable, and completely bias towards his students. He makes an easy topic into the world's craziest subject. He's gone as far to call the cops to remove a student without fair reason, and does not grade based on class work, but rather on his personal feelings towards a student.

Music theory is not easy... that is what peoples problems are... its equivocal to chemistry... seriously. That said, he's is an amazing professor. I was a music major and switched to psych after i failed music theory 1. There are 4 levels of music theory higher than this one. Trust me, he doesn't suck, people underestimate music. lol

Absolutely terrible. Steer far away. Our final grade is supposed to be the cumulative of our test grades. I received a c-, but my test grades averaged to a B+. I learned very little and dreaded going to this class. Worst professor I have ever encountered....seriously.

I'd like to see people complaining about this teacher take my classes. This guy is amazing compared to anyone else I've taken. Easy material, fair grader, a handful of assignments, no final, relays the material well. The only thing I didn't like was the rest of the class, the students were obnoxious, I wouldn't be able to tolerate teaching them.

He always showed up 10 mins late, threw temper tanturms. at one pt he gave us a very tedious midterm assignment. 3 weeks later when we asked for our grades, he said"i didnt realize how difficult it would be to grade, so i am just going to give you another assignment instead." and we got no credit for the hours of work we did

Basic Music Theory.. The class is extremely easy, if you already know what you are doing. Unfortunately, his teaching method is a bit backwards, and if you are new to the subject, you will probably need to ask a classmate to explain it to you. Takes attendance every day, grade is based on a few take home quizzes which are easy.

If you have any music theory background this class is cake. I came in understanding scales, modes, and memorized the names of all the notes and it was a free A. He's very passionate and is pretty cool if you want to know more about music. Can be hard on those who don't get it. Many take his tone the wrong way and the subject could be taught better

Simply put he's getting paid but not doing his job at all. Very unorganized, irresponsible, and always late. He expects a lot from students but he's not willing to do what he's suppose to as a professor. Extremely annoying, stupid sense of humor, a total pain in the neck.

Absolutely the most annoying teacher I've ever had. He stops teaching whenever the class makes ANY noise, nothing he teaches in class is relevant to the quizzes or exams, and he has a quiz every week, so you'd better be there. If you're a music major, you can't avoid him, but if you aren't, avoid him! Not bad if you catch him on a good day tho.

this guy is weird. literally afraid of EVERYTHING. he missed the last class and didnt hand out our finals, we got the dean involved, etc. turns out the whole semester came down to two 5p papers we did. very unorganized, forgot to bring material to class on a weekly basis, lost kid's papers. he actually used the excuse "my dog ate it" once.
