Knowing your movie quotes, as well as some south park references will get you far. Hot if your like cannon shoulders and a common ag/antarcitca/outdoors variety of just-undersized T's. Attendance must. Pop quizzes happen. He cares that you learn. One of the few gems at this school. Partial credit warriors rejoice: long answer exams ftw.

Love/hate with Ruhland. You take him for the summer and it's gonna be a tough class. The hardest thing is the specificity of knowledge he requires on his exams. Nice guy, really tries to help and drill info in, but needs other resources for students to succeed on exams (majority of the points)

I have Ruhland for lab right now and he's amazing. I wish he was teaching more classes I need for my major. Labs go quick and he's very passionate about his work. He gives really good explanations and wants you to understand everything. He's super easy to talk to and understanding.

Had Dr. Ruhland for bio 106 and absolutely loved the guy, got through labs quickly and made them interesting . Easy guy to talk to and by far my favorite biology teacher I've had, and I'm a bio major.

Dr.Ruhland LOVES his job. He is very clear about the material. I would highly recommend him for biology 106 or any other class. He is very knowledgable and funny. He explains the concepts like a story which helps when you are in a 2 hour lecture during the summer. He knows a lot and knows HOW TO TEACH. He is also very approchable. Awesome professor

I've had BIOL 411 and 410 with him, too. He is VERY interesting and knowledgeable. He is very considerate anda very fair grader. He is always helpful. By far my favorite teacher, not just for his personality, either. His tests are hard. You have to study, or you will not even get a B. His lectures are fun and time flies. Definitely a great teacher.

This guy is amazing. He's chill and actually takes the time to get to know students and treat them as humans. Ive taken a few classes with him and have always had a good time. I highly recommend him. The guys not bad looking either.
