A good prof, but he is very quick at talking through topics. By the end of lectures I felt puzzled not knowing what I don't understand. He does not post lecture slides, so you better write all down. Exams are easy as long as you study weekly quizzes and do the practice exam.

Laid-back, funny in a low-key way, and you can tell he's happy to be there. He presents the material so that it's digestible for non-physicists without obviously dumbing it down. He uses effective practical demonstrations to make clear exactly what he's talking about (and the demonstrations are often pretty cool, too). Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful professor, lectures were easy to follow although he occasionally jumped around. Nothing unexpected on the exams, at least one question was word for word what we did in the homework. Cheat sheet was allowed and the final was only worth %30. He did all he could to make the course enjoyable and easy to do well in if u put in a bit of effort

Alright, so i had him for scienceone this year. He is an amazing guy, brilliant, and has some awesome insight into the world around us. As others have said, he picks his own topics and the textbook doesn't help that much. But for those that said his tests we're hard. They aren't. Then again im barely passing physics. But thats my own fault.

The only thing that bugged me about Chris's lectures were that they were too "handwavy" and not enough math. Which is a shame, because he's obviously a very smart guy. I suppose it's for those in sci 1 who aren't going on to physics though. I guess there's Domingo for the derivations...

Very intelligent and knowledgeable professor. The way of teaching is somewhat clear, and the tests given are easy. However, his intense dislike of computers (and the ironic love of Microsoft Excel) plus his ban on calculators reduce the enjoyability of his lectures.

Funny, I definitely did not think Waltham would have such good ratings. Shocked me. He's a nice guy and tries hard but a good teacher?....I don't think so. If I had another class with him as a prof I would drop it. Easy on the prs quizzes there buddy!
