Full of knowledge! Lectures in the afternoon were sometimes boring and put me to sleep, but he is still a very fun and sweet man. Cares about students, although, sometimes it feels artificial. Great for intro, I learned so much! Just ask questions, he'll have answers.

Class is very dull but he tries to make jokes. Very nice guy. But class is boring. So boring. Survive and take notes. Getting thru bio 150 is necessary and he makes it relatively painless.

I disagree with the below comment. I don't think he plays favorites, I just feel like his lectures are scattered and a bit dry, and his comments on papers don't always seem to match the score. However, he's very helpful, approachable, and knowledgeable.
