Comment:
Very fast delivery in class, and may seem hard to follow, but he is by far one of the nicest and most approachable law professors and he cares enough to provide notes prior to each class to explain/clarify certain concepts. Weights grade so if one semester is worse than the other, it won't hurt you.

He is a pain in the butt! But all law professors are for at least the 1st year. Chuck needs to slow down-he violates the speed limit on the interstate in SD-he goes too fast.

Great Professor. Remedies was the only class I enjoyed this semester. Provokes critical thinking, explains things clearly and with enthusiasm. My favorite professor here at USD Law. Make sure you're willing to put in the effort with this guy.

Perfection. Sometimes he seems too fast to follow, but he never pulls punches and only covers assigned reading material, so complaints about his "speed" more likely reflect our (students') brains working overtime. Every minute of the class our minds are pushed to their learning potential -- Halleluiah for Thatcher!!

He may be a better professor if he learned how to communicate with his students and not just stand on the table giving quirky anecdotes. If he stopped just thinking that he is smarter than everybody else and realized that he actually is, he would start talking down to us in a way we could understand.

Prof. Thatcher is very passionate about his work! I think he needs to take it down just a notch, becuase he'll make your head spin. I found his upper level classes better--once you have a grasp of the law, he's a lot easier to follow!

Teacher who really cares about his students and teaching. But he covered material so fast in contracts that I (above average student) avoided his class from there.
