DO NOT BUY A TEXTBOOK! He gives in class handouts which is all you need. He does great examples in class. No homework. Easy tests & your allowed a cheat sheet! Although he has a very scary personality his class is a breeze. Im gonna miss it!

Comment:

Great guy. Seems to enjoy what he is teaching and often makes jokes. Teaches his class with really good structure so that you actually learn the material. He practically gives you the test to study, so if you don't do well its your own fault.

he is a great calc 2 teacher. He does not collect homework so your test grades will make or break you (he lets you use a cheat sheet) but I took his class during the summer so he might collect homework if you take him during a normal 15 week course. ask questions and go to office hours if you're struggling. His lectures are very thorough!!!

Very dry lectures. I took this class junior year of HS, thought it would be a good idea to retake it in college. I was wrong. Learned more in HS than in college class, and used very little of it in Calc III. Besides that though, if you put in the effort and learn what he likes, it's an easy A, no doubt about it.

Dr.Z is a great professor, he allows a cheat sheet on all test and quizzes and he tells you exactly what is on the exam. Don't buy the book for the homework's because he never assigns any homework. If you ask a question that seems dumb to him he might come off a little harsh but that the only negative thing about him.

Comment:

Zimmerman is a very intelligent teacher who does well in teaching. Calc II is a hard subject as is but he is very good with teaching the material in ways you will understand. He allows a cheat sheet on his tests which can help greatly. I highly recommend taking him if you get the chance.

Good instructor, but his class is challenging. If you miss class, it can be hard to catch up. You should attend every class. Nice guy, HUMAN CALCULATOR, very intelligent. C.Z. has is moments where he can be rude, but he makes sure his students understand the material. Highly suggest going to office hours when help is needed. Good professor.

Dislikes when students dont participate in class, dont do their homework, or never ask for help when needed. Always reminds students to come get help during office hours. He is extremely smart and very sarcastic

I never took Calculus prior to college so I already didn't know much about the course. Zimmerman is very smart, but I thought he was very rude and would make me feel stupid. He lets you use a cheat sheet for tests but is a very strict grader! Take good notes and show up to class and you will do well. I personally wouldn't recommend him.

I would not suggest this course if you've never taken a calculus course. He does not teach anything he just goes on rants and puts some problems on the board. Will randomly call on students for answers too. A lot of uhh's and umm's will be heard but nothing sensical half the time bc he just rambles numbers while he is doing the math in his head.

He makes a mistake on 90% of the examples he uses, students always have to correct him. He mumbles and rambles a lot with lots of "uhhh" & "ummmm"s. If you've never taken a calculus course before, good luck. He's not good at explaining if it's new to you. He does give a study guide for tests, but not quizzes. He allows a formula sheet for tests.

This class is an easy A if you show up. Ypu do not need the book at all, he tells you what will be on the test and you get to use the cheat sheet. Pay attention in class he will call on you and embarrass you. He is very sarcastic and funny.

The man is a human calculator. Follow what he tells you, he basically tells you EXACTLY what you will see on his tests. He allows you to make your own formula sheet for each test, do it! If you fail this man's class, I would recommend dropping out as college is probably not for you. Pay attention and do what he tells you and you will pass.
