Teaches it how it is. I love how she acknowledges the fact that some people are not meant for college, but it's okay. She is kind hearted, encouraging,helpful, and executed the matrial efficiently. I've since transfered and its been 3 years since I've had her and she definitely laid out a great foundation in essay prep that I still carry with me.

i took the short story class online, like another rater and had the same experiance. she also does not like when you have an opinion other than hers, such as if you interpert a story in a different way. i did more work for her one online class than all of my other class combined. horrible teacher and should be avoided at all costs!

Mr. Ross is the most professional teacher I have ever taken a class from. She will work with you on any level and knows the dynamics of teaching English. I will recommend Mr. Ross for any serious student that wants to go on to the 4 year universities. Also, she assigns a good load of homework, but it is very meaningful to prepare you as a writer.

I took short story online and had to drop the course after 4 weeks. I am an A student and always work hard in any of my classes but Mrs. Ross gives so much homework and very difficult discussions. I do not lie but i was doing almost everyday 2-3 hours of homework just for her class. it is hard to keep up with her expectations. i decided to drop her

Kind at first although tempermental at times. She is a thorough teacher yet harsh as far as criticism goes. A good class for someone prepared for a structured and hardcore class but not for those who are timid. I guess that is where I went wrong. She means well, and gives each student the direct time they deserve.
