This lady is crazy! But she is super easy. No tests or quizzes. Only an online assignment every week and a group project that is super easy. She LOVES to talk about tv/movies/YouTube and the news. Be ready for her to call on you in class to add to discussion. She keeps class really interesting and fun but be prepared... she is a little crazy!

Super easy class. She is not completely clear about when things are due, so she's really flexible. She reduces requirements of projects. She is extremely random and we talked about interesting things. However, most of it wasn't really relevant or learning anything related to education. Be prepared: she's crazy.

Ignore all the negative comments other people made. YOU WANT THIS PROFESSOR! She was really understanding about having too much work to complete in a short amount of time. She even changed the requirements of projects in order to lessen the workload. I had her for an 8am class and she kept me awake! She is funny and really sweet. highly recommended

She is a sweet lady and she's pretty easy. If you want an easy class, take her. However, she is not very clear and coming to class can be daunting (and her attendance policy requires you to) because she tends to really drag class on and do irritating things. She's sweet and can be funny on the rare occasion. She's just not exactly quality.

She was fun to be around and to have as a professor but I didn't really learn anything in this class. I heard other people in 2800 classes talked about lesson plans and how to make them and everything, we didn't do any of this in her class.

Great professor! She's fun in class and always comes to class excited and in a great mood! She is a little scattered and if you actually pay attention you CAN learn something from her. She was very helpful and encouraging. I enjoyed classtime with her. Be prepared to hear your name said a billion times though lol.

I was a student who came to class and actually paid attention, however, this woman is ridiculous. She does not make her expectations clear enough, nor does she justify her grade system. Mamola really needs to be evaluated for effectiveness and ousted.

It's amusing to read all these whiny comments, when the truth is that those people who can't keep up with Dr. Mamola are the people who only come to class to update their FaceBook accounts and to gossip about the other students. If you spend the entire class counting how many times Claire says someone's name, then you're going to be lost. Duh!

I did not learn one thing in this class! I hear people in other CI classes and about how amazing they were and how much they learned. This is an important class and I didn't take one thing from it. She means well but I had a headache after every class. She repeats herself and everyone's name like crazy!

Claire is the worst teacher I have had at ASU. I was looking forward to this class at the beginning of the semester, but now I dread it. Avoid this woman if possible. All she does in class is rant and rave; her liberal beliefs are pushed onto the students. I have not learned anything so far this semester. Avoid her if possible.

Mamola is the most unprofessional professor I had at ASU. I have been teaching for four years, and my knowledge of SS came because I learned it myself. She should not be teaching, and she should not be allowed to grade you on her opinion. Everyone knows she loses everything you turn in. Her class has no connection to SS. Don't take her class

How is this woman still in education?? She is as left as they come, and could care less about you especially if you don't agree. She teaches you nothing, and does as little as possible to get by. She is extremely unorganized and more unprofessional. The worst at ASU. The class was a horrible experience. Avoid if possible!

This woman is so confusing. The only thing worth doing the whole semester was the required tutoring twice a week. The class meetings were pointless and I didn't learn a thing. She's a bleeding heart liberal, and if you say anything that goes against her beliefs, she will grind you into the ground. Easy A, but she will drive you insane!

The fact that this woman is a teacher made me realize that ANYBODY can be a teacher. Im pretty sure a 5 year old could do a better job. She teaches nothing and hardly finishes what she starts. She will probably call you by the wrong name all semester also. AVOID her class if possible!

Mamola's class is dangerous. No matter how hard you work, she grades crazy! Be careful and make sure she does not lose your papers, and then give you a bad grade. Avoid if possible, it is a waste of time. She teaches nothing, and rambles on and on. VERY unorganized and even more unprofessional.
