Comment:

This nice lady is super-smart--got masters and PhD from Princeton in psychoanalysis. Fitting, because the class I took from her was about psychoanalyzing Salvador Dalì based on his autobiographies and artwork. Single-handedly the most interesting and rewarding class I've ever taken at Emory. She is also super nice.

It's really incredible when you can see her respond to your paper, no matter how bad it is. Even when she says basic stuff like "pick a few scenes to focus on" or "write transitions between paragraphs," you just know she's so right. I think it's b/c she has so much experience working on much harder papers... And she's terribly kind to everyone
