A lot of reading, but he makes it interesting. Really easy to get an A if you keep up with the reading and go to his office hours to let him review your papers.

Dr. Stulting is a fantastic professor and I would absolutely recommend him! Very straight-forward about expectations, engaging, knowledgeable and passionate about the subject and very good at giving you a well-rounded and fair understanding of each religion. Great for the WC GER or just for an interesting elective!

He is a very nice man and he makes the class extremely interesting. He tries to keep an unbiased approach toward the class. If you do the reading assignments, and take notes in class, its a guaranteed A-. There was a quiz every friday that was basically all vocabulary definitions. I would recommend this class !

Class was about as exciting as staring at a brick wall. On top of that there was way too much reading. Don't take him unless you like being bored and reading 50 pages every night.

Somewhat helpful and approachable, but can be demeaning. His class was very subjective since graded work/tests were infrequent. Overall would not recommend.

Dr. Stulting is amazing! He's so helpful and he makes the material, which is dry in itself, actually interesting. I came into the class just for a GER and now I can't wait to take another class with him. His lectures are crucial to quizzes and exams so you can't skip class. Also draws heabily from the readings. Take him if you get the chance! =)

You've heard about those professors that try to scare you out of class on the first day. He is one of them, but he is a nice guy after that. Extremely helpful on papers and approachable. Grades a little tough but fair. Grammar and wording of arguments are important

He is a really nice and helpful guy! His class had a lot of grammar, which made me feel kind of dumb, but otherwise he it was great. Definitely not an easy A!

Amazing professor!!! Most class time was spent in discussion/debate, so I was never bored. Emphasizes grammar - I loved it, but not everyone did. He's tough, but if you participate in class discussion and meet with him outside of class about papers, he'll reward you for it. That's what I did, and I got an A.

He grades tough, and it's not an easy A, but I would take his class again in a heartbeat! His sense of humor is so cute, and you have plenty of time to write the papers. Take his suggestions, and meet with him during office hours and you'll be fine!

One of the most sincere, genuine, and devoted professors I know. Challenges the student to think about things on a new level. The quizzes help you keep up, and its not a lot of reading. The reason he walked out of the Eng 12 class was bc only 3 of the students ever did the SHORT readings, and it was a discussion class - HE was NOT a jerk, we were.

yuck... too much reading and over analyzes everything! interesting topics but midterm, paper, and final make up most of your grade. once he even yelled at the class and then walked out... you do the math on that one.

My FAVORITE PROF!!!! Don't listen to those talking about him being liberal. It's called "eye-opening". He causes you to think, what's wrong with that? Extremely helpful and interesting. Fill-in-the-blank and essay tests.
