I think that this was a wonderful class. She is very clear and concise in her teaching. The tests come directly from the book, so you just have to read. She also has you read two small books, which are very fascinating, and write little papers on them.

Comment:
The structure of Dr. Clayton's 302 class is more like a mentorship. You're put into groups and then you're responsible for getting things together by the deadline. It seems very applicable to the real world of psychological research. This class will be tough for people wanting a pat on the back all the time. Dr. Clayton was very responsive.

Did not like this class at all. Definitely take from another teacher. She does not lecture on what we are quizzed or tested on at all. She requires us to read two extra books and write 6 or 7 papers. Not an easy class

This class is more like an english/relationship class than a psychology class. We had 6 or 7 papers and we had to read two extra books in addition to the textbook. There are almost weekly quizzes on the chapters from the textbook, but she does not lecture on what we are quizzed or tested on at all, so learning the material is completely up to you

Very intersting class. Tests were the easiest ever. The homework load was manageable. Dr. Clayton is very caring, and helpful. Lectures are interesting but unrelated. Papers kill this class. They are long, the prompts are confusing, and the writing style is very different from what you are used to.

Though Dr. Clayton knows what she is talking about, course lectures are irrelevant to test material and are instead used to explain the incredibly confusing (and might I add useless) writing assignments. Unhelpful TAs do all the grading and can be quite harsh in scoring papers. Tests are difficult and based solely on the text. Not recommended

Dr. Clayton is a super nice lady, but I was not very impressed by her class. Her lectures dont have a whole lot to do with the test material, and the tests are made up by the TA's. The essays on the books she assigns are very confusing. A good teacher, but her class needs organization. If you put in the time and effort you can get an A though.

She's amazing. If you want to actually learn something then take from her. The tests are based completely on the chapters assigned, so be prepared to read a lot. And make sure to remember all expiriments and examples given in each chapter; the TA's are completely useless and do all the grading.

Prof. Clayton is a genius, especially about her subject, and she gives the lectures, but the T.A.s do the rest, including the grading. There is a ton of reading and assignments that are worth a lot of your grade. It's an interesting class and she's an interesting teacher, but be ready for hard work.

Prof. Clayton is a nice lady. But she has nothing to do with her class. The mentor grades you. Papers are pointless because the mentor will dock you unless you share the same opinion. I would take it from Hedges if you can. Lectures don't help with tests, but in summer she only requires you to do half the work as she requires fall.

Dr. Clayton is a cool lady, but she does not run her class. Her TAs write the quizzes and tests and the MENTORS grade your papers. Don't be fooled. These mentors are students just like you... they SUCK! They're clueless and subjective and utterly useless. This class wouldn't be too bad if it weren't for all the pointless paper.

Professor Clayton was an amazing professor. I had friends who took the same class from other professor who hated it. Clayton knows what she is talking about and makes the class really interesting. The papers were hard, but the quizzes are group quizzes, and the tests are fine if you study.

Awful teacher even though the subject material is interesting. She definitely knows what she's talking about, unfortunately, her lectures don't correspond to her tests, quizzes or papers at all. Everything you need to know for tests and quizzes you have to learn on your own. It's way time consuming. Definitely take from another teacher.

Dr. Clayton is a great teacher! She seems very concerned about helping her students learn to help them throughout their lifetimes. I do have one caution: make sure that you know what your mentor is doing. There are definitely some mentors that do not know what they are doing, and that will really affect your grades on the papers.

This class is awfully tough so be prepared for minimal supervision, a ridiculously unhelpful TA, and group work. She seemed to be a fair teacher and wanted to help the students learn and do well. I'd take a class from her again.

Professor Clayton is very intelligent, but her lectures don't have anything to do with tests. The papers are difficult and it is unclear as to what she really wants you to do. The TAs were not helpful either. I recommend taking this class from another professor.

Dr Clayton is a good teacher and helpful at answering questions. However, the structure of her class was terrible. Lectures had very little to do with tests, the requirements for papers extreme and unclear, and the TA's unhelpful. The textbook was interesting and I learned a lot, but I'd reccomend taking this class from a different professor .

Dr. Clayton is a cute little lady who acts everything out. It's pretty funny- I like her. There's a quiz after each chapter in the book, and a test after every two. The quizzes are really helpful in preparing for the tests. You learn most of what you need to know from the book, but some subjects are covered more deeply in lecture. Good class.
