I am not sure why she is getting poor reviews! She is an awesome teacher. She gives clear directions and answers any questions you have. The class is really fun and I look forward to the class. Imagine that, a class that's fun. My suggestion.. TAKE IT! I took it as an elective and I will definitely take another course with her if I can.

She doesn't care about her students. She goes over her material very quickly and makes it seem like if you pay attention in class and read the book you will do very well however her tests are much harder than she leads on. She tells us generally what to study for but then adds a bunch of information that was skimmed over in class.

This is a graduate level class and Dr. Orr really knows how to relate to and respect graduate students. The class was really fun and learned a lot. It wasn't easy and had a lot of work involved, but it was all worthwhile. I think she's a great teacher. Hope to have her again.

Orr was not helpful in class or online... She would not meet outside of class to explain anything ever. Also, I took a half semester class and she missed literally two weeks.. it was basically an online class all over again. Recommendations ... DO NOT TAKE

Dr. Orr was very difficult to contact. If you had problem with an assignment, you pretty much had to figure it out yourself. She was not understanding at all if you had internet problems. If it was late, there was no consideration on her part for any issues you may have had. I would NEVER take a class from her again.

I have her online computers class. The information is useful but I find her to be a completely unreasonable person. She is very very nitpicky and will fail you on a test for a minor error and will not budge.

Dr. Orr is a very nice person. She has a sense of humor and is very approcable. She knows what she wants in grading. As long as you work hard and do what is expected of you, there is no reason that you could not earn an A. Earned is they key word. She does not give them away. She is also very easy on the eyes gentlemen. Highly recommended prof.

Dr. Orr is one of the best Professors at Northern. She is great at delivering information and hardly ever lectures. Her only downfall may be that she kills a rainforest in handouts every semester.
