He is an awesome prof. He is very nice and caring to all his students. He is funny, grandpa like and just the best prof. He does assign lots of reading & writing. But it's doable & his class is an easy A. I recommend you take him you won't regret it.

Can't understand a word he says. Makes you read the notes straight from power points he makes. Doesn't give you a chance to even copy notes. Just read the books, do the essays and you'll pass.

Awful. Terrible. DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. He does not teach in class AT ALL. Instead he just makes the students read the notes from his Word documents out loud in class. He also scrolls too fast to take notes and doesn't post the notes online so you have to resort to taking pictures to study for his class. JUST STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROFESSOR!

Do NOT take any class with this professor. His English is poor and he gives no directions for his assignments, thus leaving it all up to chance if you actually complete what he wants. He won't answer questions in class at all. Teaches off of a Microsoft Word document on the projector and regularly has 45 minute read-aloud sessions of the book.

He is THE professor. Meaning. his inspirational trend comes with respect, priority, and human touch. The methodology used by Professor Clement Mbom prepares the student (that has interest to continue an academic life) for doctoral level. Nevertheless, he is not boring, he never spoke about his Doctorat or PhD, he spoke about his love of freedom.

Awesome professor. He really cares about its students learning but as students we also have to put work in to it. I have two little kinds and he was very understandable. When you do something wrong he lets you do it over to make it up & learn from your mistakes. He will explain until you get it. And is a very sweet and funny guy. felt like-home

He is "Clement." Look it up. Nice guy, just try and everyone gets the A; he just cares that everyone tries and he knows if you do and you're guaranteed the idea. Showing up to class helps with exams and him recognizing you raises the chances of more lenient grading.

This class was one of my best class. I never missed any of the sessions because each one was very interesting. If you want to earn a good grade do his work and stop from playing around because if you do don't blame the Professor for failing or receiving a bad grade. i do not like the way he teaches... he is very smart however he expects you to already know french. he gets frustrated wen you cant read properly in french. his final is extremely hard i had no clue. he doesnt tell you what will be in any of the exams. couldnt wait for the semester to be over. hated it. stayyyy far away

Professor Mbom is one of the most understanding professor i have encountered in Brooklyn College. He has been my professor for over 4 years and enjoyed being his student. He is helpful, respectful and challenging. You need a good grade just come to class everyday and do your assignment

Professor Mbom is very cool. He does not stress you with too much unnecessary work, whatever he ask you to do just do it and everything will be Ok. If you get a low grade he will work with you so that you can get a better grade. All the bad remarks are not true, he did a good job. I enjoyed all the books he chose for the course.

Prof. Mbom is a great scholar. I'm honored that I attended one of his classes. It was helpful, and improved my skill of participating in class. It is sad and surprising to see harsh comments about him, but I understand they were made by dumb students who sit back and lack of interest and respect.I suggest take his classes and learn from a scholar.

Probably the worst teacher I've ever had in my life. Doesn't answer questions, doesn't explain assignments at all. It's amazing that he was ever hired. His answer to every question is "I've been teaching for 20 years." He once spent 25 minutes defining the word "ethnicity" as if college students didn't already know it. Do not take his class.

He is the worst for French, he doesn't know how to teach. instead of analyzing the works he just makes us read them aloud like we r in 3 grade. doesn't explain anything, just reads off his notes. Gives lots of essays without explaining what what exactly he wants. The only good thing is that he lets rewrite them if u got a bad grade. Stay away!!!
