this advanced class is hard even for native speakers unless your completely fluent. have to buy 3 texts! hw every 4 classes or so. a good class and teacher but I thought was an easy A. not so.

Very smart professor! She knows her stuff. The work you do should be worth more than 2 credits but you know what will be on the test and it's very fair. If you work hard and do the work, you'll get an A.

Everyone loves this teacher. The readings she assigns are always long but never too boring. You might have problems with nailing down a topic for the paper and the 12+ short essay question would take a samurai to defeat. Don't take this class if you hate Gong Li (actress in many film assignments).
