Prof. Fulmer is a good teacher but very demanding for what she teaches. For Brit Lit we have big tests every two weeks. She grades VERY hard (she'll take off points if you don't spell something right). We have assignments every night (that you have to do) and presentations in class daily. We've never had a break and never been let out early.

she is a very nice woman, and EXTREMELY smart, but i honestly couldnt keep up with her. she expects a lot a lot a lot out of her students so dont think youll get by easy. and definitely dont get on her bad side... it sticks.

basically, don't take this class if you're looking to sail through an easy Lit GE because we read 5 victorian novels, take a billion quizzes, and write a billion annotated bibliographies. i mean, honestly... she's a nice lady for sure- but she does think that our worlds revolve around charles dickens and emily bronte.

Loved this course! I was not excited to take it at all but Fulmer is a great teacher and you read all the great poets. Her tests are very challenging but study hard and you will do well. Fulmer is incredibly nice and helpful!

Dr. Fulmer is a very nice lady and very knowledgable. however, at 8.00 am it's very difficult to concentrate and the subject matter can often be boring. she expects a lot and makes you work hard for your A... (or B in my case!)

Such a kind old soul. This class changed me from hating to loving poetry, and made me think a lot. The tests are a breeze, provided you pay attention in class and take notes. You read some neat stuff in the class. I definitely recommend her.

fulmer is very good about helping students individually, and showing that she cares. she is also quite knowledgeable on the subject. the class had its "ups" and "downs," but overall was enjoyable (other than being at 8 AM)

British Literature- I feel like this is a waste of my time. Class time is spent reading to each other. Here tests are no piece of cake either. I feel like I truly "learned" more in my high school class.
