Comment:
She's very underrated as a professor. Professor Montross is quite nice and helpful, unless she's in a bad mood, but everybody gets in bad moods, so I don't blame her for that. I basically knew no Spanish at all before I took the course, and after I took it for just a year, I could have conversations with people in the language.

I hadn't taken Spanish for 4 years but was never terrible at it. She assumes you know everything and hardly teaches even though most people are just in it for the perspective. I feel like I have a WORSE grasp of Spanish after this class.

Professor Montross is one of the best professors I have had at Clark. She is extremely helpful and very enthusastic about the Spanish language and culture of Spanish speaking countries, which is very apparent in class. She is very fair and you will learn a lot in her class.

I don't understand how anyone could not love this lady. If you're not good at Spanish, take a lower level class. Montross is probably the most organized and prepared professor at the school. She's always available and frequently offers extra credit opportunities. She simply wants everyone to succeed in her class.

Nice lady, but in spanish 105 she mainly talked in spanish and expected you too know what she said. If you asked questions however, she would clarify, unless she was frustrated, then you were on your own. I don't mind class with her, except the fact it's in the morning. I will take more span w/ her, but only cause I have no choice.

She is extremely enthusiastic, extremely helpful, and extremely smart. If you have a chance to interact with this woman I definitely say you should grab it. She makes 8 am classes bareable because she enjoys what she is teaching and teaches it well.

Woah. She was rude and unhelpful. I agree with the rating that said after 106 she quits teaching and assumes you know it all. She made change my mind about a Spanish major.

her class is kinda boring. high-school style homework. but if you go to her for help, she's good, and the class is pretty easy if you try. kinda strict but fair and nice.

First day of class, this woman came in spitting fluent Spanish. I hadn't said "hola" in three years! Nevertheless, her courses were enjoyable, and really forced you to learn Spanish. I have her to thank for my intonation!

Once u are out of 106, u are screwed b/c she stops teaching, thinking u know it all. Stupid videos which no one cares about and u have to watch them out of class in the hot library- bleh. She also wastes paper by giving u a copy of CNN.com every day.
