I love Cort. I miss Cort. I thought he did a phenomenal job as a professor. He has the greatest sense of humor and he always made class fun. He never intimidated me, though apparently some people were scared of him =)

Comment:

He was an awesome prof/teacher. He called it correctly on Afghanistan 25 years ago before it had all happened. Really taught me to think and use resources that I still use today and teach my students to use.

I have only visited his class on a university tour of UOP. Professor Cout had a sense of presence, he questioned his class, expected the best out of even me the visitor, and most of all he knew his material. In short he was one of the reason I wanted to transfer to UOP. Now?

I've taken 5 classes with him and I enjoyed each and every one of them. If he wasn't retiring this year I'd say take a class with him, but he was an amazing teacher and it going to be missed by many.
