He is a very caring professor, you can tell he genuinely wants his students to succeed in his class. Most of the work you do is in the textbook. Do not miss a class though, since he doesn't have online materials to teach what you missed. Also, the breaks during class are refreshing for such a intense subject. :)

Dr. Zhang is the best math teacher ever! Gives very animated lectures and clearly explains the material. He is always willing to answer questions. If you take him, you will leave calc 3 with a solid understanding of 3d space.

Comment:

Zhang is a very difficult teacher, but this was my favorite class this semester. He's a bit hard to understand at basically all times, but I feel that he is one of the best teachers I've ever had. Also, his grading standard is perhaps the most friendly in the world.

If you can get over his accent and listen to his lectures with an interest in thoroughly understanding the material, he will help you do that better than any other professor, hands down. Lots of experience and he realy knows what he's talking about.

This is YesLNo teacher, very hard one. Do no take him. Doesn't explain everything, he runs fast. So, it is very hard to capture what he says. He always repeat Yes/No. He sometimes offer help on some materials, and when a student ask him to explain more, he says this is baby stuff. Not helpfull teacher. I don't recommand anyone to take his class

Best math professor, YES OR NO!?! YES. Must go to class to learn, but he presents material in a very understandable way so you actually do learn. Very good and has been teaching this subject for a very long time.

This is the best professor I have had since starting college. He is knowledgeable, loves the topic, and offers to help repeatedly if you do not understand. His accent is obvious but not difficult to understand. I am hoping to take more math classes with him later in my schooling

Scared to death the first day. Thought I wouldn't understand anything. It turns out he is one of the best professors I've ever had. I actually found myself thinking the way he talked. He will work harder than any other professor to get you to learn the material.

Very good teacher. As long as you don't mind him constantly saying YES NO and AM I RIGHT you'll be fine. His tests are hard but they come straight from problems from the book, he even gives the page number that he takes each page from.

One word: RUN!!! I found him very confusing and he didn't explain new concepts very well. Can be amusing at times but no other redeeming qualities. And his Yes/No question get on your nerves.
