Craig Cummings is my favorite professor at Ithaca College. He is so committed to the success of his students and will always take the time to make sure you understand, as long as you are willing to talk to him and seek out help. Any time I have gone into his office I have been able to ask him for help as well as just talk about life. He is the best

I'm not sure what some of these negative reviews are, but Craig Cummings is the sweetest and most caring professor I have ever come across. He's so good at what he does and he makes an effort to help his students succeed (and he gives out chocolate after hearings!). I came to IC completely hating aural skills and it is now by far my favorite class.

I had him for sight singing 3 H and I wouldn't have been able to get through that class if it wasnt for him. He is extremely passionate about theory, and genuinely cares about the progress of each student. His teaching style is CRYSTAL clear. I highly recommend him.

Craig Cummings heads a music theory program driven by ego rather than the needs of the students. The students coming out of the program learn little because all that is done in class is lectures out of the textbook and loads of homework piled on with little explanation of the concepts. This theory program is an embarassment to Ithaca College.

dr. cummings is a very judgemental and condescending man. while he appears fun at first, if you make even one mistake (one bad homework, etc.), he immediately makes up his mind that you as "irresponsible" and does not change it no matter how hard you work. his homework assignments were easy and a waste of my time. i don't reccomend him AT ALL

I loved Professor Cummings for THEORY!! He made it so enjoyable and and exciting experience. Thanks for the memories. When registering...choose him...trust me...you won't regret it!!!

An absolutely amazing and engaging teacher. Dr. Cummings always presented material in an exciting and crystal-clear manner. Not to mention that he's an absolute riot. If it weren't for the horrendous Ithaca winters, he'd wear those Birkenstocks forever
