i dropped this class after a month ... along with 40 other people. he doesn't understand his own slide and pauses for 5 minutes at a time while he tries to figure them out. for fun, count the number of mistakes he makes per class!

Dr. Hawryshyn emphasizes critical thinking and evaluating ideas. This is one of the few courses in biology that really helps us appreciate this aspect of science. He works very hard at providing the class with a thorough examination of the material.

he looks cute in those little vests, but he'll never meet you outside office hours. our class went from 30+ to 16, so it was pretty fun and he let us interupt him constantly to ask questions.

Excellent teacher for this class (advanced animal behavior). He challenged us to be critical thinkers, and understand concepts rather than memorize facts. One of the most valuable classes ive taken in my undergrad, he's got the right idea!

Ok class... lots of work but not overpowering. I think he's a little insecure, he tries to make jokes and wants everyone to like him, but a little... awkward. WAY too much about fish (his research). Cool bees.
