lecture was heavily power-point based. made it interesting with his stories. for the lab, hw, and tests, all you have to do to get an A is read your book and lab book. all his ?s came from there. do that, and you will be fine.

This guy has entirely too much energy. I mean, rocks and ground water aren't really all that exciting. But, the class isn't that bad, and he's a nice guy. Pay attention and do the easy homework and you're practically given a "B", but you have to work for an "A"

The main thing is that he's fair. He sticks to grading policy and truely works toward helping students learn about the industry. Also his interest in humanitarian projects and integrating them into class work makes the class more interesting.

Nice guy, but not the best instructor. Overly dependent on his laptop and powerpoint for teaching. Often very vauge on assignments, and on what to sudy for on tests. Besides that, i did learn alot, and the class was pretty easy. No homework besides one easy project. And you get to drop a test.

All I can say is WHAT THE HELL? Loves to use computer programs(power point) to teach, and if the programs dont work, neither does he. Very unorganized and hard to follow.

After field camp it is blatantly obvious he knows nothing about geology. That is pretty lame for a Geological Engineer. All he cares about is groundwater. Way too one sided. Expand your horizons. Hire a fashion consultant or have your wife dress you.
