Great professor, no acting experience and certainly understand the experience of acting after this class, the personal progress I felt as the class went on was great, it truly was not any work, but making use of class time is certainly a must. Don't expect to use your phone in class and listen to his instructions. 1 short paper on the school play

I seriously had my doubts about this class. I took it with a friend because I am a shy person. Honestly, I was so happy I took this class. Everyday I was smiling walking here. Whip is one guy that I will never forget, he showed me to not be afraid to express myself. I would retake his class in a heartbeat. He is truly a genuinely nice person.

Took his intro to acting class during my freshman year. This guy is easily one of if not my favorite professors at Rowan. Very funny, not that hard of a grader, really knows how to brighten your day. You will not pass his class if you do not participate and skip though. He is all about class involvement. Just come to class with a positive attitude

would really recommend taking this class from him. by the end of the semester, you are friends with everyone in your class and not afraid to speak in front of them. hasn't broken my fear of public speaking but i had fun.

Whipple is very good. He doesn't believe in videotaping you while you talk, because he thinks it makes you more nervous. He was very good at making people feel comfortable. I conquered my fear of public speaking. A fun class.
