TAKE THIS TEACHER. In class you go through slide shows of paintings, sculptures, buildings, etc...most of which she took herself because she's been to all the places you study. Very easy class. Pay attention to what she says in class because parts of it becme bonus questions on tests. Her name is also a bonus. Highly reccomended.

Teacher give out notes for class and highlights the what will be on tests. If you can memorize facts for atleaset 1 day you will do well. For the class project you to go to museum and write a paper. Its boring but I hooked with some art major also visiting. Would do again ;)

yeah...don't let Cynnie intimidate you at first. She's extremely strict about rules and regulations. Once you get past that, you're fine. You do you vocab before tests TO HELP and get bonus. You NEVER TAKE NOTES. She hands them out. You watch slides and videos and hear lectures. You know the notes, you get an A. 25 points of bonus opportunity..yea

This is a EXCELLENT professor. By far one of the most amazing teachers I've seen in my college experience (within the last 12 years). Just get her handouts, read through the outlines, and fill in the terminology and the class is a real easy Just pay attention, and do the small amount of reading you need to do. Never made less than 100% on her tests

I just got my AA from FCCJ (comp sci) natural science. I've taken every class from business to physics 2. I've learned more important facts from Groves than any other teacher. She presents the important topics of the book in plain English.

This was by far my fav. teacher. Some may find it hard to sit through the slides but she gives you everything you need to study you barley have to crack the book. Except to read so stories that are required on the test. overall a Great teacher

Wonderful teacher!! Gives A LOT of handouts but most are just to supplement whatever she was teaching that week and not necessary to study. Study guide and tests are very straight forward. However, be prepared to view slides most days for the whole class period.

I loved her! She made the world of art come alive and her preparation for the class was outstanding. She welcomes input and she teaches you how to look at a work of art by noticing different characteristics each artist used in their works. I would recommend her to anyone!!!
