Medina is MUCH happier now that she's married and getting laid on a regular basis... Take Spanish Cinema if you can, advanced level class, but decent movies and she really gives you a chance to talk about your opinions on a lot of different subjects.

Great teacher. If I were taking a second semester of spanish, I would pick her again. She is very helpful and will go over the material until you get it. SHe tells you exactly what is on every test, so as long as you study that, it's easy. And she drops the lowest test grade! Also if you get a 94% avg on the tests you dont need to take the final!

So knowledgeable! And some really fun exercises. She is helpful when help is needed but encourages student to think for themselve. A very worthwhile course! Looking forward to more with her.

Yes she knew her stuff that is for sure, I respect her for that, but I didn't like having her as a teacher. She is annoying and sometimes disrespecful. She plays favorites and don't tell her anything in confidence because she has a big mouth. There were a few times during the semester where she would talk badly about other/former students, not by name but you get the idea.

Wow. It really made me feel inferior that she WROTE the text we were learning from. Some of her oral assignments confused the hell out of me, and I was never ever sure what she wanted. (P.S I am now a spanish interpreter)

Dr. Medina wrote the text (Nuevos Destinos), therefore she knows what she is talking about and is able to answer questions. Tests are fairly easy, but part of the workbook must be completed in the language lab, which is kind of a pain in the butt.

Great teacher, very helpful, great if u are interested in spanish. she is a good teacher, but there is work, keep up and need to do hmwk. there is a work book that you have to go to lang lab for, which is annoying, but no final exam jsut an oral presentation good if you want a major/minor in spanish

Knows what she's talking about. She will help you out if you have any troubles. A lot of tests, but if you go to class and put in the effort you will do fine. Try to get out of the final, it's hard. Other than that, she's pretty straight forward.
