didn't have to show up but everyone wanted to, Cynthia is amazing our whole class loved her. I took honors FYS art & practice of personal narrative & that was the best choice of my life. Our class was so close, she invited us to her house for a xmas party for our final, PLEASE TAKE THIS CLASS IT IS AMAZING & LIFE CHANGING & TOTALLY WORTH IT!!!!!!!!

Comment:

Cynthia is absolutely fantastic, and if you have the chance to take a class with her, TAKE IT! She genuinely cares about her students, and is willing to push back assignments when everyone is stressed. She personally checked in with me several times and met with me individually. Get ready to laugh in her class and go outside if the weather is nice.

Wells is a great prof and actually made CCC enjoyable. She's an english professor though, so she graded papers pretty tough, but I think it was still worth taking her section.

Loved this class, I learned so much. Cynthia is great and it was wonderful to have a class based on reading books and discussion. She can be a tough grader on papers but is more than willing to help. This class really helped my understanding of race relations and stretched me the way college is supposed to.

it's not her fault that this was a stupid class but she took it so seriously. she was more rigid than other profs and treated the texts we read as if they were sacred. she's a tough grader b/c is an english prof and all my papers she made me revise about 3 times and she still wasn't happy. you can't slack off at all. advice: take an easier prof

Good Class. She keeps class interesting. Makes you think about racial related topics. If you are in denial about white oppression and are stubborn do not take this class, it will offend your views. You will grow in awareness about white oppression.

PLuralism: Not Hard. However, she has an unconsistent grading scale. One paper you may think you do awful on, you receive a 91. Another paper you think you do amazing, and you receive an 81. Good class. Readings are fair, no testing. I would take for a Gen ed IDPL 300.

CCC is horrible. My hardest class in the semester. She takes the class very seriously. Other professors let the students off easy but she wants the useless info rehashed back on tests. be sure to use the core texts as she treats them as holy books. she is nice and all but avoid take someone easier.

I hate this class. Cynthia is nice enough, but she takes the course way too seriously. She also didn't explain everything well. She does take criticism well and wants to improve the class. Other profs are easier than she is. I have definitely had easier courses.

As much as I despised being forced to be the guinea pig of a new course, I cannot say that I hated Created and Called For Community as much as I had originally thought. She made it interesting and kept us on our feet. Wells in my opinion is the best professor for this course. I highly recommend her.

she is so ridiculously fun! i enjoyed EVERY moment in that class. She makes it fun with her stories and doesn't let the class get boring. We read really interesting things and the discussions are great. There isn't pressure, it's really laid back and she is just wonderful. I would recommend taking her class to ANYONE.

can I just say that I love Cynthia...she is the most wonderful prof ever.she grades completly fairly and makes class so fun, I wish she taught more classes so that I could take her again. She really cares about her students, and wants to see them succeed!
