Lectures are a bit messy, as she jumps from one thing to another and it's somewhat difficult to stay on track. Projects and labs are fine, although take some time if you are not that deep into IT. You still can get an A without even taking the final, providing that you do everything on time.

Ms. Zickos is a great prof, and the University of Mississippi is luck to have her. If you have any interest at all in computer science, you will learn a great deal from her. Any who think otherwise should probably reconsider why they are at the University to begin with.

Her class wasn't that bad if you are not a CS major. You won't retain anything that's covered in the class. The class is one of those "write it down, memorize it, and put it back down on a test." Since I wasn't a CS major, I could care less. It was one of the few A's that I've gotten.
