Comment:

If you look over the study questions he gives you, and keep up with the chapters for quizzes which are easy you should do good. His study sessions are helpful and you get xtra cred. Bring cloak. Sometimes he's bad at grading so make sure to look over what he hands back. He should fix your grade. Old ed of big book is fine but get the new small book

lots and lots of notes. This guy is passionate about economics. Horrible dad jokes, but funny at times. Make sure you READ the syllibus, very specific instructions in there. He gives EC for copying your notes (if you have time, it is a good idea) and his quizzes are a good way to keep your grade up with little effort.

I loved this class. I studied maybe 24 hours total outside of class and made a 102 in the class. You have to pay attention, attend class and study but it's not hard. The class is built around intuitive concepts. I recommend this professor. He is straight forward, helpful and you're investing in your future with this professor.

Comment:

This teacher is by far one of the worst teachers ive had a chance to know. He gives the exact same speeches word for word when a phone rings, or when you walk out of the class to go to the bathroom there is always an awkward walk of silence. The only thing that will save your grade is to do all the extra credit work and to study a lot for the exams

Seriously, try to take diff. professor. He is super rude when you ask him a question about anything ESPECIALLY if you ask the person next to you. Tests, forget about it, he is unclear what will be on the test and incorrect answers are followed by a "?!". Quizzes every week, study questions per chapter. Not a hard class but certainly unenjoyable.

Take another teacher if possible. He is very unclear about test material, and is very rude when you ask him a question. Such good reviews, but I found it very hard to pass this class.

I read he was good, so I took him. Bad mistake! He does not care what you have to say, so don't bother making comments during lecture. Made an A, but jeez, he made my entire day unpleasant. If you can take another teacher, pick the other.

He is a great professor and knows his stuff. Studying the material, taking his lecture notes, and reading the chapters in the book are essential to passing his class. The tests are pretty difficult but the cool part is that he gives study guides for each test. Do those and the tests are much easier.

Grading is clear cut in his syllabus. Tests are semi difficult, especially if you're not good at economics to begin with. I recommend having the big book because study questions are from there. The small book is required for quizzes (which are easy). Study. Study. Study. You couldn't study enough for this class.

Mr. Morong is an awesome teacher; you do need to do work at home to do well in his class. He gives a lot of opportunity for extra credit, and has the BEST jokes. He's a great teacher but his class isn't a walk in the park... you will really learn with him, though.

ok so just take notes, study them, study his posted notes, and his study questions and you can get a fantastic grade. He is willing to help but put an effort too. his a bit of a joker. Study regularly and don't wait to the last minute because it isn't easy. Economy is complicated but he gives you the ability to grasp the concept. Awesome instructor

Do NOT take for online class. He doesn't do anything but tell you what chapters to read then you go in for a total of four exams. There are NO study materials. No homework. You read his notes and copy them for "extra credit". Your grade is solely based on four quizzes! This practice doesn't allow for ANY errors.

He tells you everything very clearly. He has great opportunities for extra credit. Gives you study guides for tests which he answers any questions about in class. The only way you wouldnt make a high grade is if you blew the class off by not studying/going over notes which is what I did but i still got a C. An A was possible though.
