I really enjoyed Professor Azimi class. Everything was straight from the notes. The TAs will post study guides but you'll likely find everything from the notes the professor provides. He gives extra credit points, so you should show up for class. Otherwise, its really a easy A class. Don't but the book!

Comment:

Super sweet professor who cares about his students. Gives extra credit for staying until the end of class .5-2 points. Was only graded on exams but gives out study guides.

Comment:

I literally showed up to 5 classes the entire semester. 4 of which were for the exams. He posts a test review the Friday before an exam which you can easily find flashcards online for. If you have taken any other psych class you will pass with an easy A, its very easy content to understand.

Comment:

What a GEM to UCF. He absolutely loves his students and will make sure you succeed as long as you show up. He offers 4 tests throughout the semester that are 80 questions a piece and they are really passable as long as you care enough to read the notes. He is the grandfather figure you want teaching you, I promise you.

Reads from a document but goes through all the information needed for the test. All the key things on the exams are underlined in his notes which are posted online, so that is extremely helpful. He shows old videos that are related to the subject that we are talking about. Exams are 80 questions but everything comes directly from his notes.

Sweet professor. He reads his lectures off of the notes which are posted online. Exams are based off of the study guides. You watch a video almost every class, they're old and boring. Gives random extra credit if you stay for the duration of class. If you read the notes and do the study guide you'll get an A. Also, show up on exam days early!!!

Comment:

He teaches so much old school psychology like Freud and his psychosexual stages for no reason. Videos may as well be black and white from how old they are. I usually love clinical psychology classes but this one was absolutely boring. If youre coming to class late dont even bother as he will humiliate you in front of everyone For being late.

If you wish to genuinely learn things about abnormal psychology I would never recommend this professor. If you just want an easy A then go for it. While he is a very caring professor and means well, his age shows in lectures. He focuses a lot on Freud, even though his teachings are not as relevant anymore. Videos are also super dated and boring.

A real gentleman, probably the sweetest old man at UCF. Do his study guides & memorize them and youll be good. His tests can sometimes be worded funny so watch out for that.

I've taken Azimi for two classes now. Beware: you will likely fall asleep during his class. He reads straight from the doc and tells you to highlight test questions and shows some videos from the 70's. Exams are 80 questions and there's always a study guide. Very interesting material, but dry lectures. Overall just show up, highlight, and pass

Although this class is an easy A, it will challenge you to stay awake during the lectures (that is even if you go since he reads straight off of his notes that he posts online meaning you don't even need to go). You'll get a good grade with this professor most likely but won't learn much. Barely went to class and passed with an A.

This professor is sooooooo sweet! If youre really close to getting a desired grade, talk to him he may do something. HOWEVER, there are only 4 test. Make sure to study a good 1-2 days. He gives you the answers. The study guide is exactly like he test. He reads off the slides; only go to class the last two weeks because he gives extra credit.

His "lectures" compose of him reading directly off of a word document, then later posting it online. There were a total of 4 grades in the class, which were all exams. I never attended class and studied for about 30 minutes to an hour before each exam and I ended up with an A in the class.

Poor teacher. Prefers and uses outdated textbooks and methods. Reads off the notes he posts online and plays videos that has no bearing on your grade (not on test) so there is ZERO reasons to go to class outside of exam day.

Prof Azimi is one of the sweetest professors I have ever met. He is a very smart man that is willing to answer any questions. He truly cares for his classes and always speaks to everyone like a beloved family member. His TA Valerie was also very nice and helpful. Read his notes, they are interesting and teach you a lot

Prof. Azimi is easily in my top 5 favorite professors. He is extremely noligable and helpful when it comes to class topics. He refers to his students as his grand kids and gives his grandfatherly advice whenever he can. He talks very clearly in lectures and always gives study guides which includes EVERYTHING that will be on tests.

I was really excited to take abnormal psychology. professor azimi is really sweet but every class involves him reading off his word documents and watching videos. if you want an easy A by all means take his class, but if you really want to learn about psych disorders and be more involved I would definitely take someone else.

Boring class he slowly reads straight from notes posted on web courses. Don't need to go at all except to take the exams. His TA creates study guides giving every single test question on the 4 exams (which are the only grades). He's super tiny old & sweet but the information seems outdated. Such an easy A but if you want to learn don't take him

he's very kind and loves the subject. class is very easy, stopped going to class when i realized I didn't have to go. 3 exams and final are only grades. got A's on all of them. just read the notes that are uploaded to webcourses.

He's one of the kindest/sweetest professors I've ever had. The grade was based off of 4 exams and nothing else. But if you go to class he tells you all the test questions and if you attend class towards the end that's where he gives out extra credit. Absolutely no textbook at all. The exams are all lecture based.
