I took this class online over Winter semester. The class had clear grading criteria and was really straight forward. He replied to emails with in 24 hours. If you are looking for an easy A I recommend taking him. As long as you turn in all discussion questions and the two essays on time and pass all the test you should be fine. Tests not hard.

His lectures are unclear. He skips slides that are not on the tests. Goes very slow at the beginning and so fast at the end of class. He complains about his students, life, etc to the extent that I always was wondering did he even read these psychology text books he is teaching. Tests are easy as long as you were in class since he give all questio

Love Professor Guich! Nice man that will do his best to help you when you ask. I took 2 psych classes with him and it has been wonderful. The three tests can be a little difficult, also there is a term paper and you answer one discussion question a week (which he lets you do over if you get less than a point). It doesn't get any better than this!

Great Teacher! He is very supportive and wants his students to succeed. I was managing 18 units and doing well in all classes up until the weekend before finals. I got into a car accidnet that threw me off my game. He was there for me every step of the way to make sure I did well in his class! When I wanted to give up; he pushed me to persevere!

NOT very nice at all! since I can remember I have never gotten anything below a B. I truly believe that the reason why he so harsh with me is because of my DSPs accommodations.I got 80% on my term paper. When I asked what I can do better next time he said go to English tutoring! I got it checked by my old eng 1b prof. And old psych prof. Ughhhh

Awesome teacher!!! Very firm, but very helpful. Professor Gui really knows the material and his assignments are really really helpful at the end of the semester. I'll love it to have him as my professor each semester.

I took this class online for winter and learning 15 chapters in 3 weeks was not easy. 15 discussion questions, 2 essays, and 3 tests. He can be a little condescending but he means well. He gives clear directions, helps you get a better score if possible, and always responds to emails. If you're serious about school, then I recommend taking him.

Was not interested in taking the course because of bad reviews but I took a chance and let me just tell you this professor is PHENOMENAL and the BEST at what he does! If you come to class prepared, do your work and ask questions.. you will be fine. Goes to show that rate my professor is not accurate, you just need to take that chance for yourself.

This was a difficult class. Make sure to read the text and take practice quizzes. There is a weekly discussion question that is fairly easy. Make sure to write at least 150 words. If you get less than 100 percent, you can add to your original post to get full credit.

I took psych 7 with him terrible teacher. Weekly homework is subjective dbq that he doesn't even give you a guideline so you can follow to get full credit. Since it is an online class he should provide all the materials i need to succeed and he doesn't. He needs to fix the homework that was the most annoying part this about the class.

I took this class online so that changes things a bit. It may be the format of online classes but basically you read the book and answer weekly "short essay" questions and quizzes/tests. A couple of papers are required too. Essentially you teach yourself. I need to hear and see a lecture in order to really learn so obviously it sucked for me.

I took his online summer course. It was time consuming but put in the effort and you will earn an A. 15 Discussion Questions (that you can submit as many times before the due date until you earn full credit), 2 essays and 3 exams. The exam questions come directly from the textbook and practice quizzes. He also offers extra credit! Great class!

I'm glad I took his online class. He is very fast at grading the assignments and he always lets you know what you can do to receive a better grade. Midterms are based off quizzes and readings. The paper has to be from 7-10 pgs, therefore I recommend starting it ASAP. I received an A in the class. It's hard but you have to work for it.

If you are interested in an engaged learning environment with clarity from the teacher I DON'T recommend this class. The three hour lectures are boring and not really engaging. Gives answers prior to the midterm questions (if you can understand him) which makes tests somewhat easier. Mandatory attendance or get called out even if you miss ONE day.

ThiS teacher is a tough grader. Don't take him for winter. So much work. 19 discussion questions, 3 exams and a term paper. It's time consuming. He actually makes you redo your work over and over again. This is one of the worst teachers ever.

One forum question worth one point, due each week. The forum isn't hard but don't expect to get the full point. Exams are 50 questions, two hours to take which is more than enough time. Two-4-7-page essays double spaced (so two full pages) due for the semester. If you do it right, it's an easy B. Try a little, it's an A. Don't try, it's a C.

I absollutely don't recommend this online class. A discussion question for each chapter that can take you hours to write an essay. And he does not tend to give you the full credit, which is just 1 point. His study tips are exactly the outlines of each chapter, which means he does not tell you what to emphasize on. You are on your own!
