Very interesting man. He has lots of cool engineering stories/applications to tell. His teaching style is best when students ask lots of relevant questions. Always willing to help when you go to his office. Has worked on a lot of cool projects - ask him about them.

It is my opinion, after having taken 5 courses under him, that he uses a very condescending attitude to prevent students from complaining when he teaches very poorly. He is the weakest and most disappointing portion of the Mechanical Engineering department (which I otherwise have great respect for).

Anderson is a great teacher, and is very knowledgeable in the areas he teaches. He comes off cold at first, but if you get to know him, he's not bad at all. He open up more to seniors. An "A" is attainable; don't expect any "freebees" though.
