Amazing teacher. He is not an easy teacher that just passes you, he expects you to work but he will guide you and bring your papers up to snuff. He taught me to really explore the underlying meanings of literature. I aspire to do more in my life because of him. He has pushed me to expect more from myself and has inspired me to write.

Dr. Bailey is an amazing teacher! He made English class fun, while I still learned so much from him. He was very easy to understand and was always willing to help you. He is one of my adivsers as well and has made my freshman expierence at LR very enjoyable!

Probably the best professor EVER! Everyday I always have a good laugh in that class whether it is on making fun of him, other students, or yourself. He does have high expectations for his students though, but he is probably the only professor at LR that can truely relate to students the way he does. Plus I am taking him again for 231!

Had Dr. Bailey at Univ. of Tennessee for American Literature. He's extremely knowledgeable, a hard grader, and has high expectations. But you wouldn't want a teacher with anything less. I'm a teacher today, and on my way to my Ph.D., because of his class and his teaching style. -sg
