I've had professor Brown for 2 classes now and he never disappoints! He is one of the best teachers here at ISU for anatomy. Lectures are very informational, but he makes them less boring with all of his sarcasm and humor. He makes the material understandable and is very helpful. Love his teaching style.

Dr. Brown can be a little bit intimidating at first but he is an awesome professor. KNR 182 deals with some pretty basic (and sometimes boring) topics but I can honestly say that I was never bored listening to his lectures. Effort is required to get an A but this is college and that should be expected, right?

Honestly, take the class online if possible through him. I would go to lecture but not pay much attention bc it was in the morning. He puts all of the lectures online anyways. All you have to do is watch the online lectures (if you don't, you won't do well), do homework assignments, and take 4 tests. He nice and funny btw. DONT BUY THE BOOK.

Dr. Brown is a really great professor. He makes a really tough and probably boring subject pretty interesting. My section is early in the morning and he is always very upbeat and tries to get the students involved. His metaphors for remembering things seem silly, but can be incredibly helpful.

Dr. Brown is overall a solid professor. The course itself is very challenging and I took it online. The online aspect requires a lot of studying and keeping up with deadlines. It is definitely not a blow off class! The exams were quite difficult and time is always an factor. The textbook however is very helpful and he gives you lecture slides.

Easily one of the greatest professors I've had in my time at ISU. Makes a hard & boring topic really entertaining! Really funny guy and actually enjoyed attending class. HW, notes and study guides are laid out in a note packet and also online which makes resources for the class even easier. Definitely take class w/ him if you have the opportunity!

He has great analogies and helps people learn about anatomy and physiology in a practical, clear way. It could be a very difficult course but Brown does a great job at simplifying.

Great teacher. I had him in class many years ago and now I teach at the college level. Very engaging and he will challenge you (really not that tough if you are organized and on top of the assignments)-he is one of the teachers I try to model my own lessons and style off of. Had many good memories at ISU-his class is up there.

Dr. Brown was by far the best professor I have had at ISU. I have had a variety of anatomy courses in my college career and most of the teachers stay monotone and simply read off the power points in order to cover the extensive amount of material. Dr. Brown knows that the material is tough but makes his course fun and engaging. Highly recommended

One of the greatest teachers I've had in my lifetime. He knows the material is tough and not necessarily easy to pay attention to, but his teaching style is engaging & eliminates dull moments from the class. Always has witty comments & will have you laughing every time you set foot in class. That said, I learned a ton from him and enjoyed his class

Dr. Brown was a fantastic teacher. Dont waste your money on the book. He says to use but I never did and got an A. Make sure u attend class though. Many things on tests arent in PIP packet. Study hard and know everything very well discussed in class you can get an A. He's fair. If your an A student, you will get an A.

Dr. Brown is an amazing teacher! He is hilarious and makes the information so interesting. You need to purchase the PIP note packet that is full of the slides but going to class is important to get more clarity on different things, plus there are in some class quizzes. Go to his office hours to check our homework answers to get 100%.

He takes class material & relates it to real conditions like diabetes and heart disease. VERY interesting. Go to class and take good notes. Get the PIP packet so you have the PPTs to take notes on. Get the e-textbook if you can & you'll use it more. The online PPTs with audio are a great study aid for tests. I loved this class.

Professor Brown keeps the class very fun and interesting. He is funny and frequently uses real world analogies to help the students learn. He is very responsive to emails and is always willing to help. It is critical to go to class as he will offer "key points" that are usually seen on the test. He is the best teacher I have had at ISU so far.
