There is a quiz every day, so you need to show up to class. Quizzes are easy, but the tests are REALLY hard. The professor is a really nice guy, but super boring. Super hard to pay attention to, bring something to keep you busy/focused!

Really nice guy but talks in a monotone voice and quietly so I almost fell asleep a lot. You need to show up to class unless you're already proficient in the programming language. There wasn't a lot of homework. Only reason I wouldn't take him again is that I got sooo bored.

He is a good teacher, but he is so monotone and speaks so quietly. He has no inflection in his voice, which makes the class boring and hard to sit through. He does care about students, he just needs a huge cup of caffeine to wake him up.

No one can't listen to him as He has too low voice and uninteresting and boring lectures as he cannot express step by step. He just explains part to part lectures. He gives too many important questions for 2 exams for which there will be 50 percent grading and I wonder what the exams constitutes in a coding course like iOS for 50 percent.

I feel a lot of this reviews are because the kids couldn't sit through a lecture like a student should. Haverstock is very clear when he is teaching and very knowledgable about coding. Even out of office hour times, he is easily reachable for help with code. Sit up front because he talks quietly.

He seems like a nice professor but he can NOT talk in front of a class. He mumbles alot and will lose track of what he is saying constantly. Also, he doesn't really explain things in a way that is fully understandable. I had him at 9:15 and was trying not to fall asleep as he mumbled and stuttered most of the lecture.

Dale is a good guy. He seems a bit shied away from confrontation. You text or talk and he will just look at you and not say anything. His lectures are long and at time remedial with the simplistic concepts. When it comes time to actually making some programs he is so vague and makes the class seem very hard. He is also pretty boring to listen to.

This teacher was very helpful! I emailed him about a project that i did not understand and he emailed me quickly and helped a lot. I had no coding knowledge previous to taking this class and i ended up with an A when i probably should've gotten a C. Very nice guy!

Boring & terrible lecturer. I only attended because he allocated 10% of the grade to attendance. I thought this class was easy but I could see how someone could struggle. He is not capable of explaining complex topics in a eloquent & simple manner. This class is an easy A if you already know CS.

The concepts behind algorithms, basic computing and the languages were introduced (C++ and Python.) However, I felt teaching us the actual rules of the languages was poorly done and so I really struggled when we got into the more complex programs. He did seem to be a fair if not generous grader and somewhat helpful in office hours with projects.

VERY boring teacher, but he knows his stuff. I learned a lot, but he failed to ever let me know my grade. He told me I was on the verge of failing AFTER i turned in my final, and i had gotten perfects on all my homeworks. I recommend talking to him during the semester to make sure of your grade.
