Prof. Siegel is a great professor. he will help you better understand when you are confused about a problem. He is very funny. Homework's are given but not mandatory. I recommend doing them for better understanding and practice. I would take his class again.

Professor Dale is an awesome professor as he is very nice and caring for his students. His test reviews are crystal clear in letting you know how the test will be so there is no excuse to do bad on them. I highly recommend also going through the textbook as well, as it is very clear from the syllabus where the material is coming from.

He has his own formula that he showed us how to change for diff types of problems which was def. helpful when the final came. only 3 test which he gives reviews for. I suggest that you do get the book and do pages but he doesn't really use it , its just to study

he's a good professor, just confusing. he works on problems for about a half hour and lets us out early. when he does the problems on the board, he does it the long confusing way but sometimes, it helps. i wasnt so crazy about his class, but whenever i needed help, he wouldnt hesitate to help.

Overall he's a nice guy, but kind of careless. I'm in a remedial class of his and literally NO ONE pays attention. Everyones on their phone, eating, talking to one another.. and he sees it all and doesn't care. Lets us out early and never gives homework. The class is the epitome of boring.

His a great professor, one of my most favorite. He just writes the problems on the board and solves them with the students...if students need help, he will explain and go through the problem again...does reviews for his test and lets you know exactly what to expect. Does NOT give out homework and lets you out EARLY.

He is great professor. He explains the problems and if you need help he tries to help you understand it as best as possible by showing you different ways that it can be done and which ever way might be comfortable for you. He also reviews the questions on the test a day or two before. He helped me understand math a lot better.

Im taking him for remedial classes, and unlike the previous comments he's not that bad. I mean yeah he dresses geeky... but at least he's trying. I understand everything in his class without any problems so idk how people feel as if he's hard. No homework ever and his tests are so easy.

I agree w/ previous comment listed that this prof. is bad communicator esp in a difficult to understand subject (college level math) that requires much patience, clarity and giving a student the tools and skills for applying the concepts - just writes the math problem on board and puts solution w/out explaining!-BTW geeky clothing/hoky sneakers LOL

Wow. He is difficult. Do not expect him to go into details-if ur that kind of a person who really needs help in math. lets u leave early though. It's like he puts a problem, than the answer. No brain storming for students. Dont take him if u haven't taken math in a while. ull be lost.disses students without u even noticing it. he hates his job

This has got to be the worst teacher ever. He clearly doesn't know how to teach new students learning this math for the first time. He is a very nice guy, but that does nothing for you if you are required to pass a test that is a cuny exam test that a grade in his class means nothing. He doesn't use the book nor, does he do enough problems.

Boy was i mislead by all the great reviews! The only thing he is, is a nice guy...Thats it! If you don't know math well, be prepared to suffer. He does not explain much. He just writes the problems on the board and then solves them. It's like he thinks you know everything about mat.In a nutshell, he is nice and seems fair, but not much of a teacher
